I just saw the schedule. There are no out of town teams, a few years ago it was the Blades and three other out of town teams. Are the out of town teams not coming because of the coast of travel.

Irisheyes02 Funny thing is that I talked with Bernie and according to him not one single family has asked him about trying out for the Blades Brick team. You are clearly a fraud. Why would someone pose as a member of the team and try and stir the pot. It is underhanded. "if looks could kill&quo...

I have to say the best value we have had has been at established programs like MN Made and others. Clinic run by dads and the association tend to have been a disappointment. Not much organization and the gap between top and bottom players to wide. Good effort just Not very productive.

The Machine oldest team was the 96s Dave Snuggerud coached a 95 team that became a Machine two years after the 96 team started. The team became breakaway after two years. Bernie had the 88s his next team was the 96s. The jury is out on just how well the Machine players will do at the college and bey...

This is a very simple issue. The Blades have their team. The Machine has their team. The Machine team has for the most part been together for over two years. When they join the Machine they know up front that they don't play on other team or programs. Velocity teams do not allow their players to pla...

This is what I was sent when I ask a 2000 Blades Parent about the tournament. The Brick tournament at the Novice major level (as they call it Canada) The Brick is a unique tournament and brings together Pick-Up teams from around the country with little on participation or even cross border participa...

Terry Moore 1717, Idea, you seem to be a Blades guy. If you really want it to be truly a "Team Minnesota" type of a team. Why not form a board and turn over the control of the tournament to this new board? Get a representative form a number of clubs: Blades, Machine, Iceman and so on. That...

Presidents day AAA tryouts, are there any good players left?

What were the numbers at all the tryouts today. Any strong players left to be taken. I hear that there were a number of clubs (Nationals and others) still need a lot of players.

Are this summers AAA teams going to be even more watered down or will teams across the city be stronger?

This same topic comes up every year. Bernie is the bad guy because the Blades struggle to have a good showing. I give credit to the Machine they have a great team that will be stronger this year.

I agree the Machine does owe their Blades any help.

The Machine players will not be skating with the Blades. It does matter if they change their name to Team Minnesota does not matter it still the Blades. The only chance that they would had Bernie coach. If it really is a Minnesota team why wouldn't you ask him to coach? He has the strongest program ...

If I understand this correctly this happened a couple of weeks ago? My thought is that maybe we should find another problem to fix. I am not sure what the point is here? Is one club good because they build in winter ice cost into the summer fee? If the Machine families and coaches practice over the winter the reason could be as simple as they want to improve. It is no secret that MN Made is a business. If there is no profit ther...

Hockeymannorth people can say what ever they want on this board and you are proof of that. The Machine have their Select program at the 96, 97, and 98 level. 24 player for each age group. It is mostly all training and lifting. Although they still will skate in a tournament or two. All most every 96,...

I dont think that is the case, Edina will buy every hour MN Made will sell them during the winter. So the ice would be sold anyway. I think they just want to work on the skills so that the teams are better come spring.

I saw two Choice Peewee games at MN Made. These were full contact checking games. I was impressed. I felt the games the seemed faster than the association peewee games I have seen this winter. It is interesting the movement at the 99 level. I think Velocity runs a class act, but they may end up being hurt the most due to the shuffle. I have watched the 99 Machine play seven time this summer. I have to say it is a treat. When I say that I mean the skill level is amazing. The other point th...

99 AAA September Shuffle

The Sept Shuffle seems to be in full swing at the 99 level. This is what I have heard so far. - The Edge have lost players to both the Machine and the Blades - The Blades have lost a coach and more than a few players to the newly formed 99 Icemen. - The Miracle have lost players to the Blades - The ...

99 Blades to Replace Head Coach Gerry Anderson

Sunday I was at the 99 Championship game between the Machine and the Blades.

I was next to a couple of parents. They had stated that the Blades leadership was "pulling the team from Gerry Anderson". This was his last game as a Blade.

Anyone know more or why?
