Re: Either Works
Bush, Leinart, Young, Cutler, then Hawk to the Packers with the fifth pick. My predictions.
AHA 2002 & 2005 State Champions!

Re: Si-Core
I tried a SiCore in practice. It took me no more than five minutes to get rid of it and go back to the good old synergy. It just had no feel!
AHA 2002 & 2005 State Champions!

Re: holy angels
I really don't know, Zamman would have a better idea. But I'm pretty sure it's similar to last season except for the losses of some senors like Hummel and Krempa. Plus, Trebil usually moves guys up and down from varsity to jv for the first part of the season; good for competition.
AHA 2002 & ...

scrimmages
I really don't put much stock into scrimmages because Trebil really doesn't play it the same way. He plays 6 D and 4 forward lines. Usually its 4 D and 3 lines. But this will test his depth. My guess is he is still looking for players to battle for that last D spot and top 3 lines. It should be inte...

There D is pretty bad, but then again they are in the top 10 this year in total defense, I don't know how that happened. And they just beat Vick and Atlanta. I don't know how the Packers can lose to some of these teams and then beat Atlanta, it just doesn't make sense.
If Favre had anyone to thr...

Favre & Owens
Watching sportscenter, Owens thinks the eagles would be better with Favre at the helm. I hate to agree with him. Watching Favre this season, he really has been pretty good. I know, I know, five INT's. But if you take a closer look, Green Bay has absolutely no recievers. They get absolutely no sepera...

Re: sticks
Johnnie, I guess you're right. Your snapper is pretty good. That shot really did hurt in practice, it got me in the right spot. Trebs wasn't pissed at that, he was pissed at the way we played the day before vs. Eastview.
AHA 2002 & 2005 State Champions!

Re: Title 9
That is just a shame. I feel bad for the girls who have to experience that atmosphere at the X when Ridder would be so much better.

Plus, the X is hard to play in when nobody is in the seats. The Vectors are still around.

Johnnie, you have probably been told this but Brett Hull used something like a 75 flex, and his shot seemed pretty good to me. Re: The Band
Isn't the girls state hockey tournament at the Xcel energy center now because of Title IX? If so, that is too bad because the atmosphere at Ridder is so much better for girls hockey than the 95% empty X. Can anyone confirm this for me?
AHA 2002 & 2005 State Champions!

high school hockey
One thing that makes Minnesota High School hockey better than other states is that kids actually play high school hockey in Minnesota. It wouldn't always be better than schools in Mass and Mich if kids didn't play prep. I believe most of the prep teams out in Mass would be very competitive top ten t...

Re: Moorhead, Centennial, AHA
I don't really know much about Moorhead and Centennial. But AHA will be very good this year. They didn't lose many players that were of extreme importance. Plus they still have the high-powered offense lead by barriball. People say the Defense could be a weakness, but I see it otherwise. Cooper has ...

I agree with AHA at number one, they didn't lose that many players and should be very solid this year. But I don't know about Moorhead. I'm serious when I say I really don't know anything about them, they are usually pretty good. But didn't they lose a lot of players from last year's team? And if so...

Re: AHA defensemen
I heard from a reliable source that Cooper is playing a before and after with Tri-City. I know that this can be tough, but if you stick with it, it can also pay off. You get to see what the next level is like but you also get to play high school hockey. Best of both worlds, so to speak.
AHA 2002 ...
