Teams always lose players due to injury, illness, quitting, or other issues. Losing one player should not have created such a downfall unless it was a key player like a goalie. No depth = no competitiveness.

Well, looking at who Hutch plays, I think Sweson is better then Johnson and Burgau. Campion is the only reason Marshall beat NU and tied Hutch and stayed in the Lourdes game. Had some shut outs on weaker teams, but he is better than the two tonight too. They are all fine kids...yep - goalie position...

I think that is the way a lot of NU players are though - they are talented, but they have an ATTITUDE. NU goalie should have been better, but he didn't always need to be. If I recall right, I don't think Marshall hardly had any shots on him... not sure about that.

Seedings are questionable this year, but honestly, most of the teams were pretty close. I don't mind losing 10 games a year when I know I played HIGH QUALITY GOOD HOCKEY TEAMS!!!!! Some losses feel like a win when you play great teams that play good hockey! Beating less than average teams is nothing to brag about. I would rather lose 10+ games on a good schedule than win a ton of games...
