The better Minnesota players will be in Chicago, so this tournament will be very watered down. Take your trophy, add it to your web-site and fool some parents into thinking they are good because they win watered down Tourneys.

Do they except kids from the UP for this try-out or is this just for Minnesota players?

Probably and 95%? Leaves some room for error.

I guess we will see.

Thanks

1.No teams from Europe will be there. That is false information.

2. Does a child at 10 years old get better from December to July? It seems a little early for a try-out.

3. Do kids have to miss there own organizations games for that weekend?

Just some thoughts,

FYI

Illinois does not start AAA (Mission,TI,CYA, and Fury)until squirt major.

I would assume that all these players (2000s) played with their local organizations in Illinois.

Detroit does have Tier 1 squirt minor.

Isn't that what spring hockey is? All-star teams? AAA, I thought means bring your best because you will play the best. If you cannot compete either do not go or get better players.

Looks like the Blades and Machine both lost big in the semi-finals at the 99 level. Was anyone at the games to see why?

How about 00 and 01 levels in Winnipeg? Did they compete?

We have three quality Tier 1 options in Wisconsin  ??? Who? The Fire are all Minnesota kids and crush the others. None of Wisconsin's teams can compete outside the state of Wisconsin. Minnesota will continue to produce good hockey players, because they have quality coaching and plenty of rink...

It looks like I hit a big nerve with the "real" word. Sorry if I hurt your feelings.

I believe and it is only my opinion that the Blades with get more out of going outside the box once in awhile.

Sorry, I just looked at the rosters the 95/96 were two weeks ago.

This is a 97-99 Prospects in Toronto May 21-23. The 99 division in the Independance cup should be an easy one for the Machine.

I was impressed that some of the teams outside of Minnesota at least competed. Did these top 4 Minnesota teams blow anyone out in the first two games. Maybe a few, but some played them tough. Hockey outside is getting better.

Now we have the winner picked with Lakeville South and Wayzata.

Which Fargo team will advance the farthest?

Who will be the team that does not win a game. I believe looking at the brackets that only one team goes home without a win.

Good stuff! Let us keep track of the Champion outside of MN. A MN team will win it, but what non-MN team will go the furthest or give the MN teams a run.

My bet is Afton.

I still would like to know how many 00s are on the so called top teams.

Sorry to stir the pot with the 98 thing. Good luck to all. My upset team to advance to the sweet 16 is Afton. STL has some very good hockey and they may have expanded their boundries to get into this tourney. Looking at coaches in this tourney, have any played college or pro. This form states Fargo ...

A four year squirt? I would assume that he is a 98 now. He must be the odds on favorite to win the squirt Olympics.

All I am saying is taking a 98 born in August means that you did not have to take that 00 born in August that teams outside MN have to take. My math is not that good but that is a two year swing.

I am sorry, just my opinion,2 years of development is a ton.

I see that you have only one team outside of Minnesota advancing and that looks like a reach. Minnesota has two big advantages, they play with half of 98 birth years and they have more depth than the teams outside Minnesota. Will there be any other possible upsets to get the the sweet 16. Does anyon...

Who will have the toughest second game?
