Done it a number of times. If you can't run a tournament without a host seed don't bid on it. There are plenty of other towns in the district that will take it.

How about Peewee B's. Is it true only one team advances out of district 16 to regions because Crookston needs to have a host seed or else their parents won't work the tournament? Didn't they do the same thing with Bantam A's last year?

D16 gets only two seeds into region this year. EGF will take one as region host, which they would earn anyway.
