Hudson

It was great to see them pull it off. I am not so sure it was the mid season pick up of a goalie (which only happened because Lehr went to college). Not with .870/4.80ish stats. I believe it was simply their (the team's) will to win. As a team they came together at the end of the season and gave any...

tHE jUNIOR hOCKEY mAGAZINE fORUMS bOYCOT!!!!

That site is by far the most one sided forum I have ever read. There is this guy who calls hinmself "DAD". I assume is the mod. He likes to pick sides and kick people off if they do not agree with other posters. I truly understand if one is rude or offensive or uses foul language. But if y...

Re: Goalie talent in the NA

I hope he wasn't concerned of his own selections! There is alot of talent out there, it just needs to be located. Most teams have these tryouts that basically any kid can attend. The kids/families usually select them based on location, coach, reputation, etc. The NA teams need to be more selective ...

Goalies and available talent

I disagree. I feel that there are a lot of coaches who do not klnow how to select a goalie. Some picks I have seen are very questionable. I have seen family freinds kids selected, board members kid and my favorite one is "He played for _____, a AAA team he has to be good. Fact is most of the ti...

The talent pool

To be honest and actually going through it this year. There is no doubt that the pool will be thinner, yet the clubs need to make better decisions on who gets the opportunity to play. I saw many picks with political backing versus who played well at tryouts. These pools are not only thinned they are...

Yaggy

The guy who runs he program is a former Rochester JM player, Pat Ferschweiler. There isn't much in that area for hockey and given who they compete against they need players. From the list getting Lapic is a major coup but even with Lapic these aren't kids from top programs or even top half conferen...

Hawks and Bromberg

They currently have some serious tender issues. Bromberg is not the answer. Decisions were made during tryout camp in August which may need to be changed. Age and experience chosen over young and talented. This may have biten them in the butt. Currently have 1 that is injury prone, 1 with poor stats...
