I think currently Luverne belongs on the watch list until they play a higher level team. Unfortunately the only way to gage them is the stats they produce which are put up against inferior teams.

Look at who they have played. Bottom dwellers, no signature wins at all. I'm not saying to slight Luverne, but to say that M-A is a VERY SOLID TEAM is overstated IMO! for this section, yes. They would actually be a very solid team!! Stuck with Luverne for awhile. Interesting to see how they do agai...

I got to see a great game in Hutch last night. Both teams played to their strengths and I look forward to see them playing at the end of the year. Being is the begining of the season it will be good to see how they grow.

I hope whoever wins this section plays well at state. I think the only thing getting less respect then this section is Luverne.

That being said I am taking Hutch over New Ulm 7-3

I agree with TEAK. Marshall is a better team than last year. Last year they rode campion through the playoffs. Campion was clearly RATTLED tonight as he earned a misconduct penalty which really opened the gates for Luverne. I'm worried its going to be a long week for the black and orange faithful. ...

After seeing the way Litch and Hutch skaters put up points this weekend it really makes it difficult to effectively gage Luverene based on numbers. Oh well I guess I will just leave that task up to the hockey bible experts.....

Thanks for posting...The web page is a nice effort but I cant say much for actual section knowledge of the person. It appears inflated stats of teams probably factored into the rankings.

The only record with talking about is Section Championships.
Marshall has the bragging righs this year!

Luverne – LDC will be interesting - I expect a physical game out of LDC and a major issue could be if Litch is able to avoid the Major Penalties
It will be nice to learn what Luverne brings to the table.
