Rucinski has opted to not play Thoroughbreds this year as nagging knee injuries have left her unable to play. Not sure what her plans are for next year.

Lindsey Brown has accepted an offer from The Ohio State University to play this fall. I heard it was a sudden change and has developed only in the last two weeks. The Thoroughbreds will have Paige Turner and Lindsey Hibbard for their goalies this year to backstop a very talented team.

i personally had the privlege to play in the X and it was one of the greatest memories of my hs career...ridder is available for other games as well as practices during the offseason so its not a special, you only get to play at the X when you make "the show" so what if it doesnt fill seat...

edina and hopkins are very deep teams, irondale has great forwards with mcdonald and lorence but lack the depth that the other teams have. they also havent been tested much this season, we'll see who's top dog in this tourney

how can anyone doubt tonka...i dont care how many transfers hopkins has, a long as friend stays healthy she gives them a chance to win every night. expect her to lead her team straight through this section, the games will be close though

i agree it would be very hard to seperate girls on select teams. but i think that i should be taken into consideration, that would ultimately make the teams fair

one of the goalie girls i know just recently bought new pads that included the new regulations. the wrap around thigh pad is much different than the previous model, overall she says that it actually is more comfortable because it doesn't get stuck in her breezers. the pads may be skinnier but we wil...

im actually very good friends with Natalie Wedell, she's one of the best role models i've had...she is very excited for next year, i personally think that she is one of the top defensemen in the state, when i'm going against her, i make note of her when she is on the ice

thanks allhoc11.....mariucci and ridder are great arenas but just don't have that "special" quality that the x has. the state tourney really is your only chance to play at the x and the fact that you are playing for your own school makes it even more special!

the x is a great venue overall, i have actually had the privilege to play in the state tourney and it was a great experience. i will never forget stepping on to the ice for the first period, it was amazing. even though there's not a lot of fans (there was for our games :lol: ) it still is a great pl...
