Re: FINALS!!!
Bemidji and Sartell/Sauk Rapids game last night was a nail-biter for both teams. Bemidji couldn't score because of great goaltending from Haroldson and a good defense that helped to get the puck away from the net. And late in the game after it was tied a goal was waved off with a quick whistle that ...

Re: Sectional upsets!
8 AA seems like one upset has taken place. Sounds like Tech had a problem with the 16 shots on goal. Didn't they have any defense or was the goalie off. Anyone see the game?

Re: Senior Goalie Info
As far as SOS goes it does not factor in the strength of the defense that one plays with. The teams with a great defense don't allow for many shots on goal and don't reflect how good the goalie is. I have watched many many games in my life that the goalie see only 15-20 shots on goal and none are re...

Re: Senior Goalie Info
I know that not all the info is correct and can't see anyone that would make a conclusion based on incomplete information. Not all the girls noted have played all the games that their teams have played and so if you make a choice of which goalie is better than the others I think you need to know the...

Re: 8AA 2006
Having just reviewed the records of both teams I see that SSR lost only 3 regular season games and Tech's loses are to regular season opponents.

I also see that Tech lost to Alex as did SSR and then tied Alex as did SSR. I noted early this year that the CLC was not going to be controlled by ...

Re: 8AA 2006
Did you see the same game??? Give them their due, they beat Tech by having a great defensive game starting at the net and working out. And a strong offense. In game one with Tech, S/SR did not play four senior girls in the first period including two of the top D.

Also the penalties favored Te...

8AA 2006
That what i've said in the past its hard to place a team just on SOS. I think this is pretty close to the final seedings if people are honest in the way the teams have played.

Any given team on any give day and the desire to do their best will make the difference. Its crunch time.

<...

Re: Section 8AA
I'm not saying that Bemidji isn't the team to beat but the other nine teams in the section aren't packing it in just yet. One bad game or a bounce the wrong way and it bye bye.

Re: Section 8AA
As I said earlier this year the CLC and 8AA is not a walk by any team. Look at the records...8AA two teams without a winning record and CLC has a couple of teams that haven't been this bad for years in the bottom but are ready to rebound next year and the rest battling for position.

Records Vs. Rankings
I know that there has been alot of talk in the past posts that always come to the discussion (ha ha) of how one team is ranked above another team.

In most other sports you are ranked by a record of your performance in games and not by the schedule of games played...and so the points system i...

I know things are going by fast and with Christmas and all, but any further discussion of Ms. Goalie candidates....alot of games played and more to come but maybe after the holiday tournaments we could have a better idea of who is setting the standard for this honor.

Ms. Goalie

St.Cloud Area players
I saw both games that Simley played this last weekend in St. Cloud and Sartell that thought the girls form the St.Cloud area played well. Sartell/ Sauk Rapids played Simley tuff and battled back form 0-3 to tie the game and send it into overtime. The biggest play of the game had to be the penalty sh...
