Any news from your school? Any hockey girls move into the district/school? Pretty quiet in this part of the world. Any of the Privates stocking up?

I don't think this is accurate.

Watched it online. BSM's first goal was an awesome individual effort, and their second was a power play where Tonka just didn't have enough players to cover BSM. Early in the game BSM stayed right on Tonka, but as the game went on they tired. Looked like they only played 4 D the whole game. Their wi...

Because I have way too much time on my hands, I seeded AA from 1-64 and laid out brackets. (Yes, I need a life) Here's how it would lay out: SECTION 1 1 Mounds View 64 St. Paul Blades 33 Hastings 32 Irondale 17 Eagan 48 Coon Rapids 49 St. Cloud 16 Robbinsdale Armstrong/Cooper SECTION 2 9 Hopkins (9)...

Is 14B dead?

Are there any associations planning on forming 14B teams? If so, who?

I am just failing to see what all the fuss is about. There just aren't that many girls playing squirt hockey right now. There are certainly exceptions, for example New Prague squirt A team, in the game I saw one of the girls was the best player on the ice from either team - fastest, best stick hand...

No Checking = No Top Girls at 12U?

Despite it being more fun socially for the girls, I think the no check rule will flood Pee Wee programs across the state with not only the Top girls, whose parents want them competing against tougher competition, but even the medium-to-good players, who will see an opportunity to play faster. Becaus...

You won't know until you see which players get sucked up into high school or JV.

But offhand, I'd start with Eden Prairie, Edina, Wayzata, Woodbury, Centennial, STMA.

Yes, we beat Edina. Looked like your big scorer slowed way down when she got two penalties. Saw her score a pretty goal against Lakeville. Those first two games were two of our best. The Duluth hosts are really tops. Go Blaze! I think you're discrediting your BV girls inferring "two best games...

Duluth Icebreakers 12A Brackets

What a great field in Duluth - let's handicap, OK? Burnsville/White Bear Lake - I'd hope that we could do it, and let's say we do, but... winner gets winner of... Edina/Elk River - Elk River beat them last time Blaine/Chaska-Chan - Can Blaine's goalie stand up to CC buzzsaw? Lakeville/OMG - Which La...

Why wouldn't Centennial have 15 skaters like any of the big programs do? With all those kids up there? Don't they have 2 B teams? I would short those squads and help them develop.

Looking at it now, it sure looks like Woodbury is the #1 team in the state, then Wayzata, then Centennial, Edina & Chaska.

Last year EP was easily one of the top 8 teams. Anyone who thinks otherwise wasn't watching closely enough. They absolutely should have some sort of seeding to get the best 8 teams in that tournament. This year Edina and EP will have to go through the same district and region on the way to state. Ba...

Clash of the 12UA Titans: Edina v Eden Prairie

Saw where the two best 12U teams scrimmaged, a 2-2 tie. Anyone care to share details - who carried the play, what does each have to do to win this matchup?

Both EP and Edina have over ten kids back who played 12A last year, and they were both pretty damn good last year. At 10's this EP team was probably best in state, so the EP prediction isn't bad.

Well, not everyone could attend, and not because we just don't care enough.

So, what's the deal? Why the secrecy about this? It must be a redistricting, that's about the only thing that would need to be kept secret, I would think.
