Re: Come on man
actually Navy has a good hockey team. Its club level on the east coast. The level of play in the club level out there is like D3. Very good level of play, just not a varsity sport. Like other sports at the Naval Academy the coaches recruit and can pull strings to get a kid in that otherwise might no...

Re: 2005
I'm a HM fan and I thought that 2005 WBL team (25-3-3) was the best in the State that year. They truly are cursed in the State Tournament Quarterfinals. That was not a very good Duluth East team. They came into the tournament with 11 losses. and cursed in sections, and last year cursed by the refs,...

Lance Bortot from irondale. he has a terrible team but himself has probably the best agility and speed that ive ever seen. Agreed, yes, lance is very good, great athletic ability and needs it on that team. However, no matter how good he plays scouts don't nec. like pure athleticism, they like solid...

Re: Hill-Murray
Of course families send their kids to Hill-Murray for hockey. Thank God they do. That's why so many good players are there and why they are a winner. Who denies that? Who denies that some leave when they don't make the team? I also don't care. We live in a free society. Families send kids, and pay ...

Yea, any score? soo many rabid pioneers here but none posting the score?? hmm did the raiders clean up even without mr alt?? Now that's about the first honest admission i've read here from HM. Kudo's!! I don't care why they go there, but to not admit its hockey for quite a few of them is always good...

Re: HM - WBL
Hey HShockeyz - As long as you loved that Richfield game so much, here's some games that I attended that I have loved. How about you? 10 straight 12/6/05 - HM 1, WBL 0, Hoeffel with the winner. 3/3/06 - HM 5, WBL 4, 2OT, Section Final. 12/5/06 - HM 2, WBL 1, OT, Larson with the winner. 12/28/06 - H...

Okay.. If someone with logic knows what the INTENT of the transfer rules are designed to benefit and/or discourage, please feel free to offer your knowledge. Why are there rules in place? Like in many legal situations, one has to clearly DEFINE INTENT..... What INTENT did the MSHSL have when transf...

He can play Varsity at PL if he still lives in PL school district. When you transfer to another school and haven't moved out of the original school district, you are still eligible to play Varsity sports for the school district you live in (in this case PL) The player would have had to play JV at A...

Re: HM - WBL
HShockeyz does the same old whining that's been going on out here on the NE part of town for 50 years. He "longs for the day" when "the playing field is equal", Hill sucks, the coach sucks, there is no team, just a bunch of "transfers", blah, blah, blah. Well keep whin...

Are you kidding me why do you think all the best White Bear players are leaving?.....Because they know Sager and the whole White Bear program is a joke. They don't want to play for Sager and his coaching staff that is not respected by anyone. I have never talked to a ex-white bear player of the pas...

Another transfer goalie didn't Sager learn enough from his last transfer goalie. I think the kid played in about 4 games sucked it up and left. Unless this kid is the next coming of patrick roy (obviously he isnt if he didn't even play at Hill and got kicked off the midget team he was on) it wont r...

Re: What decision?
Goldfish, being a fellow WBL fan, several WB Footballers transferred and were immediately eligible, correct? They didn't all just happen to move? Let me get one thing clear. I am a supporter of and parent of my son in good times, and now, difficult times - and I am a financial contributor to the pr...

yes
It's getting pretty clear that there IS open enrollment with the crap going on at WBL right now. Whatever it is, i'm sure there are rules that need to be followed if so, then no issue. I would just like to see WBL beat HM, scrimmage, game, region?? any and I don't care if they recruit sidney crosby...

Coaches start it
Almost positive he will have to play JV this year and he lost a year of varsity by transferring. If he transfers back then he can play JV without losing anything. Bad attitude though. Because you got cut then you leave. He was not good enough. Try again next year. Remember AHA has over 60 kids tryi...

Re: What decision?
Stay tuned for further flaws in the MSHSL transfer rules. Transfer rules were set in place to discourage transfering for ATHLETIC reasons. The MSHSL is about to open a huge can of worms in a soon-to-be-decision. It's cases like this Prior Lake situation that need to be badly addressed. How can a ki...

Re: HM - WBL
Not this crap again. I guess after watching 10 straight losses to Hill-Murray the best WBL can come up with is that they have a better student section. I hope WBL can beat HM this year. It's not really much of a rivalry if the Pioneers always win. For the record it's now 49-22-2 in favor of HM. Loo...

Re: Hill over Stillwater????
Hill will be there again - it is basically the same team as last year. Actually, Stillwater scored 4 goals on 29 shots in the section final. The Pioneers had 5 on 41 shots. Ok, but 29 shots if you count some of their icing attempts that hit the net. 4 goals by stillwtr on just a few quality shots. ...

what student section?
wbl HAS a student section for every game, as do most high schools. Paint their faces etc... HM has two student sections, one that sort of shows up for wbl only to realize it isn't much of stusec, and one for sta which also has pretty lame attendance if they have to drive more than a few miles. Even ...
