With a disappointing tournament run, Forbort might want to return and try to get a state title. However, loosing Tardy will be difficult for them. But last year the Hounds lost Rob Johnson and Jake Boese on a line with Tardy and Max stepped up. Now with loosing Tardy and Nelson, I think Paulseth wit...

There is no way Cretin is going to get above 25 shots let alone 40. If the defense plays half as well as they have been all season they still won't get over 25. I haven't heard of a dominant forward either for Cretin so it will not be as high as 40 shots.

Actually it's Derek Forbort and the entire D core for East should be watched. Jake Williams, Joe Arbour, and Al McLean are outstanding.

I bet the majority of the Cretin supporters haven't seen East play. Just wait and see how amazing our defense is.. I have only seen them play once against my Bengals and we put up 4 and added an empty netter to finish your boys off....I was amazed! That being said they're the best defensive ...

Re: No....East isnt a Legit Title contender

Afraid not my Northern buddies.......East isnt that great face to face thye are playing a team that is a decent matchup for them, but East would need help to actually win 3 games at the EX........Cretin is totally willing to play the physical POUND the crap out of you game. So I look for East to be...

East attacks constantly with fast, quick forwards. Except for Tardy, who IS in a class by himself, all other East forwards are interchangeable, any could play on any line. Put Tardy between any of East's wingers and he'll boost their production. If there's a better forechecking team in the tourname...

I bet the majority of the Cretin supporters haven't seen East play. Just wait and see how amazing our defense is. If the Hounds played as well as they did against Elk River this game shouldn't be a problem for the Hounds. All of the defensemen had the game of their lives and if Tardy plays as well a...

All I am hoping for is the game will not a repeat of the Forest Lake game. Re: Even Tony Sarsland didn't like it when Elk River was pla

I dont think Elk River has much of a choice of where they are placed. They were in 7 for a few years then went to 4 and now back at 7. Maybe they will move back to 8 and everyone can be happy. Even Tony Sarsland didn't like it when Elk River was placed back into section 7; he said it wasn't a good ...

The DECC has a smaller sheet of ice but there is not a huge difference between the DECC or any other high school arena. You could start yelling if ER had an Olympic sheet of ice but I'm assuming they don't. The size of the ice is a very small factor. It's not like ER hasn't played their before. The ...

The Elks will win a nail biter. Franke will come up big and Sarsland will have the Elks playing a solid, physical hockey game. A lot of people on here are saying the Elks played "slow" hockey against CEC.... they supposedly played poorly and won 6-1, I'd love to see what they do playing g...

Both the MSHSL and East online calendar have it at the DECC. The East calendar is right most of the time.

Only Elk River, but one goal on 36 shots against Osseo last night? Lee Andover is starting to look like a team to not look past, for both Elk Rver and Duluth East. The Hounds played very well tonight. Although the game was a bit chippy it is to be expected because it was Julius Tamasy's old team. It is a great thing to know that going into sections the team doesn't have to only count on one person to score all of the goals. Although Cooper lets in a soft goals...

Re: Hounds need to be ready

East has created some solid momentum and needs to be ready to play tomorrow night. Cooper needs a good test in the nets going into the section playoffs. It must be tough to really get into the game when you don't see many shots. East 6 Hastings 0 Cooper needs to be tested. The two goals he let in a...

I thought Owen Collette once again looked average at best, and much of that may be due to there terrible defensive corps. Putney is really the only D-man that doesn't make me nervous when he handles the puck back there. You can't blame Collette or the defense men. Today East had a 4 on 1 , which pe...
