From past experience I would not put too much credibility into this tournament. The most exposure you get is from the parents that show up and a couple bottom level junior team scouts. Just another money maker for someone who came up with a catchy name to hook you. But hey you get to play hockey an...

8AA: St. Cloud Tech yes. Don't forget Brainerd who beat the Spuds . Buffaloe may but is doubtful. that actually never took place, but they did play them tough and lost 2-1. as for 8aa, got to go with stc tech they tied roseau and moorhead in the last two weeks and have great goaltending 9 out of 10...

Thanks... that easily explains Maetche. Does Miller get caught in the offensive zone often? In the defensive zone, how does he do at blocking shots? miller doesn't get caught too often. his biggest accet is on the powerplay he does a good job getting pucks through and picks up lots of assists on re...

Are Miller and Maetche really leading this team in scoring from the blueline? That is, are they actually playing defense, or do they basically pinch on every rush? I haven't seen them play, so I'd appreciate some objective analysis. maetche is playing foward and miller is an offensive defensemen. T...

Tech has a real opportunity to win Section 8AA this year with Roseau and Moorhead being just average AA schools. I hope they pull it off, it would be nice to have someone new represent that section. That would put a little egg on some people's face too. Tech is 10-4 on the season (if you count the ...

Gus Miller- DEF - St.Cloud Tech fun to watch, 6ft 170 likes to throw the body around and has 5 goals and 4 assists in his last 3 games. must be measuring him wearing skates, lol. If you're looking for missed talent in Saint Cloud take a look at Nessler with SCC (defense) or Palusky SCC offense. (oo...

Puckluck said, If they played AA and played the teams tech plays things would be diferent. I am completely neutral when it comes to these two teams. In fact, I am not even from St. Cloud. I just think it is humorous when someone things their team is so much better then the other after they just tie...

Gunner you're out of line and incorrect. 1. My observations lead me to believe that 218 is one of the only current MHS students who posts here. 2. You can hardly accuse him of homerism in his post. Moorhead looked great last night against GR and Roseau still has some work to do if they're going to ...

I'm not exactly sold on Roseau's team this year, so I'll go with Moorhead 4-2 I agree. If Moorhead the ways they have been playing I can't see Roseau keeping up with them. I will say 3-1 MHD with goals by: Buckellew, Rahman, and Strand of course you agree, half of your team posts about moorhead on ...

I'm a little disappointed they're not showing any of the top 3 rivalries in the state (DE-CEC, WBL-HM, Roseau-Warroad), but it's a very solid lineup top-to-bottom with a good balance of Metro and Outstate, and a few single-A games to satisfy those viewers too. Not that I can watch most of them, but...

buffalo is gonna have a terrible record look at their schedule... EDINA twice, Roseau, Moorehead (guarentee they wont beat them), Cloquet, Wayzata twice, Minnetonka (are they even good without gardiner), and Rosemount...than the rest of their games are played against terrible teams rogers, St. mich...

i agree, both of them looked as composed (if not more) than many of the veterans on the two teams. they both played great both nights, if they continue to perform i think the gophers could be a very dangerous team come the end of the season.Bash Brother wrote:Ness and Schroeder seem to have adjusted quickly.

I think that his size has worked against him as far as the college recruiters. They are looking for the bigger goalies. i dont think his size will be an issue as long as he can maintain the quality of play that he had throughout the state tournament. he reminds me a lot of lerg when he plays that q...

i keep seeing talk of the Riley's size - how big are they? These posts make them sound like they would have more sucess with midget bowling. size hasn't seemed to hold back Ness or Schroeder - and we have heard about how small they are for years now. How do these guys compare? the rileys are small,...
