I hope Faribault did that. I think Lourdes will handle Northfield no problem, then kick the sh%$t out of Faribault (if Faribault makes it that far).. Nothing coming up at all from Faribault for many years to come so if Lourdes wanted to pour it on, I say they should..... why would anyone want a tea...

Red Wing should absolutely get the 5th seed and West the 6th seed based on the strength of schedule, the Wingers play in a tougher conference and have played a tougher schedule overall, West has only 3 decent wins against AL, Holy Family, and Northfield, their other wins were against Mankato East (t...

looking at the MSHSL website the brackets posted for the Section 1A boys hockey tournament are different from last year in that there are 12 teams in this years section tournament compared to 11 in last years section tournament, and that this year the 5th seed does not have a first round bye like la...

the teams are not better this year, in years past many more top rated teams in section 1A, how can you possibly say that there are better teams this year when only Lourdes and Falcons are in the top 20, that makes no sense at all

I have seen all these teams in this section play this year, and I can tell you that this section has the least amount of overall talent in it than it has had in the past 5 years, and this years top one or two seeded teams weather it be Lourdes or Faribault would not have even been seeded in the top ...

was at the faribault vs west game last night, faribault looks good, they have now beat new prague and west two of the top teams in section 1A the last few years, faribault looks pretty solid all the way around, well coached and their kids worked hard, their defensemen looked solid, and their forward...

Great 8 Section 1A/1AA Goalies

looking at the Big Nine Conference Boys Hockey Website, I see that Jordan Yaggys season stats are 2.953 GAA and .893 save%, and Eric Wobschalls season stats are 3.213 GAA and .868 save%, and these are the two goalies for this section in the Great 8, and yet Adam Trautman from Mankato West who has se...

its a team game, there was plenty of room for improvement all the way around for West, like I said Troutman should have done a better job with his rebound control, and West should have done a better job clearing some of those rebounds, also one of those eight goals was an empty netter at the end of ...

i thought the little goalie for west played pretty well, he made the save on the first shot most all night long, except for on the first goal which was a 2 on 1 break for the tigers, the tigers goals came on their second, third or even fourth shots in a flurry, he could have had a little better rebo...

my son played with the trautman kid a few years back on the district 4 advanced 15 team, watched him quite a bid that spring, he is small but very quick, moved well, maybe not the most technically sound goalie but seemed to have good instincts for the puck, competed hard, from what I saw that spring...
