It was a good game last night. The top 3 are really close. Rose is a fun player to watch. The current standings are as follows:

1. Northfield
2. Redwing
3. FARIBAULT
4. Albert Lea
5. Austin
6. Waseca

LOOKS VERY FAMILIAR TO SOME EXPERT'S PICKS!!!
Hint, it was not RSI.

I am sure when the Falcons go down South it may be a different outcome. Not likely. The better team won last night. Albert Lea put forward a great effort, but it was not enough. As of now the seciton stacks up as 1. Northfield 2. Faribault/ Redwing (This will be decided by the later sesaon game) 4....

Congrats to Albert Lea the other night. It has been quite a drought for the Tigers against the packers. I think they had lost 5-6 in row until Saturday. Of course Faribault had done the same. It is nice to beat Austin again. I have enjoyed the quiet Albert Lea faithful this year. Lessons learned? To...

You know falcon 89 it seems like the news team in Austin is on your side. On the news last night for sports they brought up how is the team without Jenkins. My opinion is that they have a couple strong players but that obviously isnt enough. Maybe if the coach would've started playing those players...

Congrats Northfield. It was a great game. Northfield is the new sherriff in section 1A. The team to beat. I still like the big 3. (Northfield, Faribault and Redwing.) Hmm, who picked these 3 in what order. I am the greatest. Seriously, the best game I have seen this season. Two quality teams...

I guarantee there are no out of work, anger management therapists, in Austin. Any who need work, should move down there to the south. Fairbault is one of the most balanced teams in 1A. We have always been. Austin has always been carried by a few stars. News flash: those stars are gone. Here is a bla...

Cheated? how silly. Be happy Austin. Enjoy and remember those last two years. Those years will have to hold you over for at least a decade. I am glad Faber and Jenkins were smart enough to graduate. I would of hated for them to hang around any longer. Northfield is playing great hockey. Taking names...

Austin's reign is over. =D> =D> It is as I predicted. The big 3. Northfield, Faribault and redwing. Taking names I hope you enjoyed playing with swiss and company. Swiss went to state 2 years in a row. You rode her coat tails. We didn't play our best hockey, but we didn't have to. It was only Austin...

Falcon 89, I take it you lack on a good education. With Austin's quick skaters they could beat your team. It will be a good game if they play as a team. I really cant wait though to come and watch when albert lea plays your team and just slaughters them. Promises, promises. Will be a fun night. Don...

Red wing is a good team. It sounds like it came down to great goaltending and defensive play by Northfield. That is northfield's style. Great goaltending. Last time I checked the goalie is a very important part of the hockey team.

Congrats Northfield.......the new team to beat. 5-0, undefeated in section 1A. Taking names....spell check? it is called an education. You first need to excel in reading comprehension. Hockey groupie was talking about Faribault taking a beating up north. Time for Austin to take another beat down. Fa...

[ I'll buy you a Section 1a #1 FAN sweatshirt if you keep kindness in your heart and a civil tongue. Funny, like where could I wear that? Tiger city?  That would be like the nut job that wears the falcons89 jersey, at the Albert Lea/Faribault games. There is someone with dangerous habits...

Gonna miss ya puck hog. Back to a positive influence. The Green machine's section 1A player's of the week. Congrats to: Maren Dvorak, (Northfield), with 4 goals and 2 assists, in two section 1A games. Off to a great start. Sam Stark, (Northfield), goalie, 93% save. Nicely done against Albert Lea and...

And who gives a dam about section 1A in the big picture, when they play the good teams in the state, Blake, Roseau, Breck, Warroad, Hibbing-Chilsom ect, its like U14 against a High School. Look at the State scores of austin-vs-Breck or Roseau. LMAO. Puck hog... take your meds and attend a few more ...

I am enjoying the banter. First of all, I will not claim hockeygroupie as one of my brotheren, from the elite town of Faribault. He/She is most likely close to those great youth hockey coaches in Rochester. Looks like Albert Lea is not much better than Austin. What do you expect, the same gene pool....

'firecracker78" has been around forever talking nonsense. Some JM youth hockey parent. Coach G said the most important thing. SCRIMMAGES MEAN NOTHING. Out of curiosity, how did the traditional Albert Lea...Austin scrimmage turn out. Last year AL won the scrimmage like 30-0 and claimed section 1...

It is nice to see many running to get on the Faribault bandwagon. This dominance is a teaser. The best is yet to come. What is funnier , is the season hasn't even started and AL is already making up excuses. Excuses are like .......... every one has one, and they all stink. Faribault is the greatest...

Quick!!!!!!! Somebody change the name of this thread to "2008-2009 Section 1A U14" T  One of the most reasonable things ever said by Twinn. Faribault has some wheels. They looked good yesterday. Is that 1A enough to keep everyone happy? <edit> AL/DC dominated Northfield. The most se...

Why does firecracker78 (rocket) always spin this thread into something besides section 1A? He is a great liberal democrat. Spin away from issues to something you would like to talk about.

Is she another AL girl? I hope so.

Austin, Albert Lea & Faribault had younger players last year on their teams didn't they? Even though the teams lose some experienced players, don't they still have younger girls to help out? Don't count them out yet! Give em a shot and see what happens. I don't think anyone is counting out Fari...
