Yes, Ness' size may not be what most NHL teams are looking for in their D but he'll do fine with the Goph's. He sees the ice well and can create a lot of offense.

When he makes the jump up to Pro - don't be surprised if he ends up playing Wing.

Anyone hear any of the JGB scores from games so far today? I'm at the JGA playoffs. It's funny how the right side of the JGB brackets worked out... you have the cheap teams (Woodbury & Roseville) playing each other and the more skilled teams (Edina & Lakeville) playing each other. I dont th...

Hey Lars, you call it physical... I saw it as cheap. I agree that Roseville hit the ice hungry. And there were several RAVE mistakes that they capitalized on - but you must admit you guys played a clean game and they certainly did not. Question - how many of your guys were injured by the end of the...

Assuming that Edina and Lakeville both win their first round games, I think their semi-final will be a good one. It's hard to beat a team 3 teams in one season, especially a team like Edina. thats funny because lakeville and edina were the only higher seeded teams to get passed the first round. May...

No
Are you sure? I thought they were both in the Albert Lea tournament.

I know you guys are excited about your individual points. I'm happy for you. But when you start to compare yourselves with other teams - keep in mind there are some coaches, that during the regular season, won't let their players "RUN UP" the score in the guise of good sportsmanship.

Lakeville is going to win it pretty easily I doubt that the championship game (or any of the games) will be "easy." Look for some great battles. All 8 teams are coming to win. But after watching all of these teams - I pick the RAVE to take state. I say that with the stipulation that the R...

I agree. WB are a tough team. #2 plays off the puck better than most JGB teams I've seen. Plus they're pretty physical. I expected them to continue into state. But Wayzata must have done something right.

I don't think the RAVE should be playing A just because they do well at the B level. I've seen them play. Sure they have a couple, maybe three guys that could be playing varsity and the rest just work hard and make good decisions on the ice. And there are several other B teams that have a similar ma...

RAVE players, Nice job clinching the top seed in state today. You played a solid team (the Wessy's) and you prevailed. I also understand that all lines were scoring this weekend. Nice work. I second that thought. You guys really work hard out there. You have varying degrees of talent but you ALL pl...
