I thought the series was great. One of the better series in a long time. The officiating, however, might rank as some of the worst I have seen.

Watching the replay of the hit Pohl took got me to thinking about how his helmet cam off so easily. Did he even have his chin strap on?

Could easily be one of the worst officiated games I've ever seen. That being said, WOW is it fun to watch. I couldn't agree more. The first period penalties were a complete joke (except one). Same for the second period. Then in the third period and overtime, you could get away with anything, except...

Re: new ulm tripping players

French does have his off games, but when he played well, the whole team performed way better. I have grown up around him and I've been on various teams with him, including football and baseball. And to be honest, he has improved his attitude a great deal. He is a very passionate player and gets cau...

What about Class A? I would have to say Mankato West is probably the best unseeded team there.

Re: new ulm tripping players

Hockey Bob,, the new ulm player you mentioned that trips players at the end of the game,, is it # 15? As at the end of the LDC game,, New Ulm's # 15 took a cheap shot at a LDC player,, hooking his skate to make him fall.. The LDC player was enjoying the win, and decided to ignore the act... I watch...

I'm thinking upset on this one, with West winning a tight game by 1. On another note, I didn't realize that West wasn't the #1 seed in section 1A. How in the world did Lourdes get seeded above them?

Re: Answers

Second the 94-95' season they only went 19 and 3 being the you could only play 21 regular season games at the time, and they lost first round in playoffs to West. New Ulm's best season was 01-02' when they went 20 and 5 losing three to #1 ranked Lourdes and one to the eventual state champs Totino G...

Also want to apologize to their head coach. Thought for awhile the problem started there, but I just read lately where he took his Captain's "C" away from him early in the year for an on-ice incident. (And then also let him earn it back.) That was probably a hard thing to do to a team lea...

No offense guys but whoever wins won't go too deep in the tourney. This is a very weak section. Litchfield??? New Ulm??? Come on now. Litch's wins over mound was when mound played their backup. No matter who wins they will go two and out at the state tourney. Of course it is a weak section. It was ...

I think they responded with a "we hit harder" chant because Ogdahl rocked him in the face and then stewart laid there and took it. like a real dead fish right?! Stewart took it like the smarter hockey player he is. Then he schooled the goalie on the penalty shot (his second of the season)...
