Vikings offered a third rounder for Sage Rosenfels.

Quite a good deal if it happens, he's a capable starter, then go sign wide out D.J Hackett in free agency. Then a DE(Justin Smith or Odom from the Titans.)

Would he be a better option than Jason Kubel? He's probably within budget at this point.
No way is he better then Kubel, who needs to play.

Someone said 4-1 DM a couple pages back, score might be different now.

Since there isn't any other goalies in the NHL.
I suppose how about John Curry? Not sure how good he is doing with the Penguins AHL team.

ESPN will probably be replacing NBC for the 2008-2009 season, showing NHL games.

I think Ness is too small to be a productive defenseman in the NHL. However I would love to see him prove me wrong. Not really it's just his weight right now, which by the time he's NHL ready he should be around 180 to 185. There's not much difference between 5'9 and 5'10. Atlanta Tobias Enstrom 5'...

It's going to be Niskanen. He needs to improve his coverage in front of the net and a bit defending two on one's, besides bulking up a bit more. Also he needs to get his shot on net a bit more. He's been getting double shifted the last few weeks for the Stars in the 3rd period when they're up or dow...

Re: nhl draft 2008

I don't think the Wild will take Ness, probably Gardiner.
Though I know the Saint Cloud Times said Risebrough went to see Ness play.

From the Pioneer Press: "At the right price, free-agent quarterback Rex Grossman could end up with the Vikings." #-o Now that would be a night... I wonder if a little birdie told Walters that one. 4 Vikings in the Pro Bowl, one the MVP , and an 8-8 season. Does that sound right? A...

Just what we want. A pitcher whose pitch count has been abused and his arm is about to go out. Nah, Livan Hernandez has a rubber arm. All we need now is Bartolo and we are set for this season. Freddy Garica's a free agent coming off a shoulder injury so another option on the injured list. Al...
