Well StruK, I guess I'm a little confused as to your position on this team. First you criticize me for not knowing and saying I should stop telling "half-truths" while in reality, YOU are the one on here now who is starting new rumors. I feel that this whole organization has been backward...

Well Taz I do have good reason to consider poor coaching a part of the problem but my main issue is with the ownership and administration of the team. Brian Murphy was a great coach. Brad Zangs is an OK coach. But neither one of them is in control of this team. Soskin is making all the decisions. Yo...

OK, it is no longer rumor or half truth. The goalie cleared out his locker this morning and the assistant coach also talked to the team about his resignation this morning. I understand the assistant coach deciding to leave, it't really hard being the only sane person in an insane world. The surprisi...

If you think the Director of Hockey Operations is making the decisions about this team then I find it difficult to consider your comments about the assistant coach and players credible. DOHO is as much a puppet of the owner Soskin as the coach and everybody else connected with this team. It is compl...

If Crash and Marty know their hockey then the AL team must be really bad because everyone knows that any high school JV team in Minnesota can beat half the MJHL teams. Granted the administration and coaching of the AL team may be sub par, but the coach and GM don't step out on the ice when the puck ...

GR3343 hit the nail on the head. "This reads like a story of a spoiled brat." I stand by my earlier post. I fail to see any logic whatsoever in his quitting the team due to the fact that he won't get noticed because the team won't be very good. News flash for him, "The scouts are not ...

Royce leaves team

What happened to the last page of posts? I know they were getting a little off topic and a little too colorful but I didn't think they needed to be deleted. Anyway, back to the topic at hand, the Albert Lea team. The home town boy has quit the team. I hear he realized he was in over his head, couldn...

The circus has left town for a few weeks. The Thunder final camp is over and they have picked a team. Here is what we know from an inside source. Yes they kept the goon. The kid actually looks like a clown. You can be sure they kept him on the team for entertainment purposes only. The owner knows th...

Crash, did the Albert Lea team have a head coach yet? I have not seen any announcement. I would expect that they would not have very many talented players at the camp this past weekend as it was their second open camp in this area. It will probably be a little better at their main invite only camp t...

Game pics: http://www.grhshockey.com/pics_01.26b.htm Senior night pics: http://www.grhshockey.com/pics_01.26.htm Grand Rapids captains made a very classy gesture by honoring fellow seniors Corey Kosak and Grant Prokop and their families. When they were peewee A's their fathers, Jim Kozak and Gary P...
