What a shame that the late penalty was called. The refs had swallowed their whistles and the call was not consistent with what they had been letting go. Mr. Plante had some fire in his eyes after that one.

Hats off to Rapids on a fine season. They gave East all they could handle tonight. Too bad they couldn't both compete at State. Rapids is set up for a run next season. Lee Agree that GR gave DE a great game and is set-up well for the future. "And in the end, the Hounds got it done. 5 in a row,...

Dulutheastfan and Karleast are not willing to say where these refs are from and if they graduated from East high school. Come on boys. It didn't take more than 5 minutes for them to lock me out on my DE and Refs top GR post a couple days ago. And yes us GR fans are upset about the non call on Avery ...

East and Refs top GR

DE has a fine team and will go to state. It is always difficult to beat DE but when combined with some very poor officiating it is impossible. The non call on the hit from behind on Avery Peterson with about 8 minutes left in the game will leave us GR fans shaking our heads for a long time. And of c...

What a hockey game! Couple of observations - agree with them or not. Even though East didn't capitalize on their power play opportunities in the third, it wore Rapids down considerably and they weren't able to get the third line any time, which was giving East fits through the first two periods. If...

What are the best lines you've heard for putting the "Biscuit in the Basket"

My favorite is "you gotta put the cat in the hat"

What are your favorites?

The D1 prospects include Moore, Underwood, & Bischoff. I'll be very surprised if all three do not play DI. Stejskal has really shown some talent as well and with a good senior year could get some attention. This is a very good Rapids team. They are very fun to watch. They can make it to State bu...

The GR announcer loves to hear himself talk. Unfortunately what he believes to be entertaining is painfully annoying to the fans. It has become embarrassing to be a GR fan at our home rink. Have you ever heard of someone calling the play by play during the chuck a puck. OMG! Looking fo...

Which arenas have a pleasant game atmosphere free of annoying blasts of music between whistles and free of overly zealous announcers? :D

I think Sova may be available for your team. I don't think the D-1 teams have shown any interest.
However, I think he might fit in very well on a Sioux team coached by Hackstal and Eades.

GR could have had The Dominator (Dominik Hasek) or Vladislav Tretiak(best Russian ever) in goal vs Anoka and they still would have lost the game. You cannot give a team multiple point blank shots and expect the goalie to stop everyone. Tabaka deserved the start as he has been playing very well. Norc...

Hard to beat the double headers that are the norm for the DECC.

What a great day of hockey that could be.
