Is there any significance to the fact that Blades/Icemen list names on rosters and Machine appears to not? Not sure that I'd be ok with full name listed with the team's schedule for security purposes. Do you have the same security concerns when you see your kids name listed in the tournament progra...

Here is the deal with AAA hockey - it is not about quality of players or teams but rather it is about playing by birth year. That is the only objective distinction that qualifies a team to play in AAA tournaments. It is not about limiting participation based upon athletic ability, location, if you a...

YeahYeahYeah I am not tip toeing around anything...I have a son in the program and we are excited about it and I am happy to help promote the program. I will re-phrase my original post to say - I heard a lot of the top 2000's from the Northern Suburbs are skating Miracle. I watched some of the eval...

Good point buttend but some of the young parents actually choose the MM teams over the Blades which I don't understand since Bernie doesn't tolerate other spring/summer/fall sports, not to mention I just don't agree with their philosophy of churning out little hockey machines versus real hockey pla...

Maybe the alliance should call themselves AAAA or AAA+ hockey. Sorry, but AAA hockey in MN is now defined as: 1) non association managed, non MN hockey controlled OFF-SEASON hockey no coaching certification required no background checks needed if independent 2) non showcase spring/fall league game ...

If a person can make a good living from this, great. The rate for hourly ice time is very comparable to winter assoc.- The coaching and training just from tryouts seem lightyears ahead. Hockey could be kind of a bargain, I can't imagine what parent's must pay for piano and tennis hourly, and hockey...

A hot button issue that relates to this topic is some people have strong feelings about teaching systems or not teaching systems at the squirt level. Since we are talking about rotating players and the need to do it than I would assume that everyone agrees that teaching a kid how to play the game an...

I'm with tenoverpar - I think that's the most pathetic post I've ever read on this board and the competition has been tough. First time Squirt parents need perspective. Wow! Sorry EP lost Fred! Maybe if Edina had balanced their two A teams we would've seen more competitive games. I guess it's all a...

Black Pool with Centennial, Fargo, OMG and Eden Prairie proved to be the most competitive top to bottom of the 3 pools. Centennial tied Fargo - Fargo rallied again and scored to tie game within last minute of game - both teams bounced from tournament. EP over OMG 5 to 3 - the winner advancing to fin...
