Exactly as WBL said. AHA mighta got screwed last year, Moorhead mighta got screwed this year. Moorhead coulda scored more, AHA coulda scored less. Refs make bad calls all the time. A bad call shouldn't be anything special by now. Moorhead should never have let the game come down to a call made by the ref.

Our goalies played like crap, so I guess the rotating of them finally caught up to us and bit us in the ass. But whatever. Games over, prolly wont be hearin from moorhead for a while now.

Exactly, you could argue that AHA scored last year, but that's not how it was called, same goes for Moorhead this year, it happens. Shouldn't take anything away AHA.

Real easy to second guess the call. What did it look like in real time? If there was no instant replay, slow motion or still photography, it looks like the ref made a good call. With the advantage of technology, it appears the wrong call was made. Maybe the MSHSL will add video replay to the ref's options for confirming a call in the future, but for now the call was what it was. Again, think about trying to make that call as it happens!!!!!

Yes, it was a goal. No doubt about it. The ref should have signaled goal right away and if he had doubts about it then confer with the other refs and if needed use instant replay. Like Morinville said, they use replay in the NHL, those players can come back next year. The 15 Moorhead seniors can't. Maybe after AHA getting screwed last year and Moorhead now this year, maybe it is time to use instant replay in the tournament for stuff like this. All that being said, Moorhead shouldn't have put themselves in that position in the first place. That was the worst combination of defense and goaltending I have seen by the Spuds in over 2 years, and what a time for it to happen. Congrats AHA, I just feel bad for all those seniors for Moorhead.

The absolutely worst way for a season to end. I feel sorry for the spuds, but I won't diminish AHA's accomplishment in any way. If's aside, AHA won, And are deserving champions. No asterick.

I never saw the AHA screw job from last year. What game was it? But yeah, replay shoulda been allowed if it could decide the outcome of a game otehr then that of a TERRIBLE call of the ref. Might i say the outcome cheering for Moorhead was great. Like 80% for moorhead, and all 2 sections for AHA. You could totally tell everyone was rootin for the Spuds. When you heard the cheers turn into boo's and our idiotic band started playing the school song. just yeah, not cool.
