Is it time to retire the JGA blog
This blog has seen it's better days. With Krebs, patchy, TTrain, braggenrights and company gone, I believe its time to kill this board.

The number of responses is low for this board but the number of views is pretty high. For this thread it shows 305 views and 4 responses.
I believe it is just a pain in the @$$ to register.
The youth hockey board is slowing down too.
As kids get older there is going to be turnover. It should be easier for new members to respond. Let people respond as "guests" until they decide they like it here and want a name.

Arrrr!
The good old days of yesteryear were the greatest - when kids actually knew how to write in more than 140 character phrases. It's a shame because you just can't get a decent poke at other teams using twitter. I keep looking for "USHSHO" gold in the JG forum, but come up empty handed every time. It might be time to send this forum out to sea. At least JG hockey is alive an well!

Looking over the remnants of the old JG board definitely brings back some great memories. The posters of old have all moved on, and like most other hockey forums, the JG forum has paid dearly in the aftermath of the twitter popularity explosion.
On the bright side, the JG level of hockey today features more talent than I've ever seen. Highly recommend that anyone a few years removed from the level (such as myself) get out to a game. Great entertainment for nothing but the price of gas.
