You are all wrong, it was a delayed penalty, but the shot got off, and there was no control of the puck. Watch the replays the puck trickled through and then rolled to the back of the net. Hawkins got up and made sure the ref was aware of it. i watched it at least ten times today. <br>I will say this, I think we did get away with one on the waved off goal. Hard to tell, but in my opinion there was no contact with the stick and the pucked dropped in the net. But, that does not mean Moorhead ties the game. AHA would probably gotten an empty net game and still won by two, so the issue is dead. <br>Moorhead played great, and the refs missed a call.<br>AHA are the 2005 Champs.....<br>Love to the Hawk.... <p>________________________________<br>2002 & 2005 STATE CHAMPS!!<br>GO STARS!!</p><i></i>

where was this controversy last year when AHA scored against Centennial? I'm a little disappointed with the amount of excuses MHD fans are giving and the lack of congratulations to both team's players. <br><br>AHA won their second state championship in four years. MHD hasn't won one in their six appearances in the finals. AHA is 2 for 2 in championship games. Those are the facts and the rest is just garbage. yes it was. AHA still had games to play and went on to win consolation. The controversy certainly didn't get this much attention and wasn't b*tch*d about this long. And there was many congratulations to Tom Gorowsky and the rest of the Centennial team at the Mr. Hockey banquet last year from the AHA players. <p></p><i></i>

The Fisher goal came after a faceoff in the zone. If it had been a goal, the faceoff would have been at center and the goalie would have been put back in. Who knows who would have won that faceoff and what would have happended. There is no guarantee that you would have scored the second goal and no guarantee that AHA wouldn't have gotten an empty netter earlier. There are no guarantees the other way around either, but as I said earlier. The law of averages goes against Moorhead. Sorry, but i have to add this. I am not trying to make excuses. AHA won fair and square with or without the blown call. Can someone please tell me why Moorhead did not have 1 goaltender for the tourney and stick with him. I have said in previous posts that 2 goaltenders rotating was not good for the team or the goaltenders mentally. Don't know if this is true or not, but sources have told me the decision on who was going to start in the nets championship night didn't come till late in the afternoon on Satuday. <p></p><i></i>

That's not the point slappy. I agree both goalies were good enough to play, but you need to pick one and go with him. I've been in the middle of a goalie and quarterback controversies and trust me it isn't good for the team until you know who your go to guy is. <br><br>And get me some info on the scout man.
