Defense looks ok...especially against the run, but this is an offensive sleeper...maybe that's what Cowher meant :?

Time for the 1/2 time treats :D

Nice numbers but he couldn't do that here anymore, Moss is finally in a place where he can dominate again.

Viking Football is exciting, both teams combined for 6 punts and no offensive points through one half of play.

Now 7 punts. I think the under is pretty safe.

From the N.E. - Jets game...

Ellis Hobbs 108 yard kick return for TD (Stephen Gostkowski extra point is GOOD), 14:46

OOOO! We're getting tricky now. A double reverse to Williamson.
Sidenote:
Moss just scored for NE. I guess I shouldn't have benched him on my fantasy team.

Matt Spaeth catches his 1st NFL TD for Pittsburgh. Congrats to the former Gopher.

It's suddenly TE University over there in Dinkytown.

Wow. TD AP.

Looked like kind of poor defense by the Falcons, but hey... it's OFFENSE!

First, no matter how ugly a win is a win and the Vikings are 1-0.

Second, the pathetic offense put up 6 points, on a great/lucky play by Petersen. Jackson didn't hurt them though at least one interception was dropped by the Falcons that would have been returned for a TD.

Third, the defense is stout enough, but this a bad Atlanta offense. Also the pass defense wasn't very good but there did seem to be a nice pass rush which should take some pressure of the DB's.

Lastly, in a battle of feeble offenses, the Vikings scored 6, the Twins have 4 through 5 inings.

If they're going to win this season, they have to do it that way. Well done.

Next week should be a completely different test... Detroit has the good offense and bad defense. Let's let's see what Jackson & Peterson can get done. It'll be interesting to see.

I'll have to make that 2 lite beer pregame a ritual each week.

Not to good on 3rd down conversions, BUT! defense lived up to their rep as an offensive defense, 6 sacks, 2 int for TD, and I think they held them to less then 250yrds total offense.
Now if we can get more then 10 pts/game in offense.... we got a team!

Don't forget the third Swede in the law firm, Williamson. He had 2 catches today for 19 yards. WooHoo!

I haven't been very optimistic about this season and I still don't know if they are any good but wins can lead to confidence and the possibility of overachievement.

I wouldn't have guessed that Jacksen, Petersen, Williamsen & Assoc. would be serving Pickled Herring and Lutefisk at the firm Christmas party buy hey, if you're Scandanavian, you're Scandanavian.

I would guess that there are better odds of that happening than the playoffs, but hey... who knows.
