No Lake of the Woods
Even if hockey happens heard LOW won’t be fielding a team because the seven kids from Rainy River will not be able to enter the US.
Re: No Lake of the Woods
Not true.
The decision as to what to do has not been made officially yet.
LOW will either have teams as normal with a start date depending on the border situation.
Start at a later date/ or on time, without the RR kids and add them if/when the border opens.
Or the kids will play with another association this year.
All avenues are being explored and a plan for alternative action is being made.

Hey Elliott, just curious if you have read my post in the "youth hockey travel" thread you started? If so, any thoughts or opinions on what I wrote?
Re: No Lake of the Woods
In District 16 we are trying to be as close to normal as possible.
With that said we are:
1. starting a bit later
2. restricting travel to within District 16 until mid/later December
3 later December expanding into Districts 12 & 15.
4 re-evaluating around the first of the year.
5 tournaments somewhat restricted but need a great deal of flexibility in that they need to be booked about now
6 following USAH-MH return to play guidelines - including restricting number of adults in attendance, using only two man referee system, come ready to play except skates, coaches masked, off-ice officials masked, etc...
I believe USAH-MH sign up includes a non-covid disclaimer.
