GR leads 1-0 after two. Shots 34-14 GR.
Controversial goal, Hibbing kid was obviously injured, and refs let play continue for a long time and goal scored on what was essentially a 5 on 4.

Was at Wa/EP game. Good game. Wayzata came out strong got two goals but then gave up a goal with 50 seconds left in first after Schilling made great glove save and as puck was in air it came down off of a backchecking wayzata forward and in net. EP scores two goals in the first minute of the second. Was a pretty clean game no penalties in first a few coincendal penalties and maybe a couple more for each team. Wayzata played a good game as did EP. GB. West Metro, my flip phone doesn't make it easy for me to post updates while at game.

Lakeville North beat Eastview 8-2.
Max Johnson with the hat trick, 2 were short handed. That kid has a great all around game. He scores, passes, is responsible defensively, and has a strong physical presence. Very underrated.
Lots of nice goals for North. Eastview hacked it up quite a bit and didn't get called for much.
Might be late to the party, but learned that Foss (the Northfield goalie transfer) has left the team.

Dad? seriously they need to ban this and being able to yell "sieve" at goaliesrainier wrote:3-0 GR over Hibbing. Shots 42-21 GR.
Nice game by Rapids, lots of talented kids on that team.
The drunk Rapids fan heckling Perunovich very loudly once the game was in hand needs to grow up. Just embarrassing. It was really bad.

They have settled on a goalie and a lineup, made adjustments to their PK, and you have to remember they really weren't able to get any momentum with the top line for a while due to injuries. They should coast through the rest of their schedule now which includes mostly home games. The outdoor game at home vs Holy Family and a home game with Moorhead will be battles. They have a road game against Duluth Marshall on Tuesday.grindiangrad-80 wrote:They definitely have better results when they(GR) stay away from the man down situations.
Pretty good when they play 5 on 5. Solid road win over a good team.
