Both teams seem to have inconsistent goaltending. In the paper it showed Morgan getting lit up by EP. O'Shea, the youngster has had his ups and down. Both teams seem to have similar talent. Tough choice.

My prediction, Morgan steps up after losing his last game. Rosemount 4, Eastview 3.

right on man. Rosemount 3 ev 2. Irish went up early in the 1st. Ev scored there 1st with 8 minutes left in the 3rd and a minute later scored to tie. With 1:01 left Irish get game winner

WORST OFFICIATED GAME EVER!

Im not making excuses, but EV scored in the 2nd but they disallowed it because of a man in the crease, when no one was in! Also, with 2 min left EV's Maloney scores, but the goalie takes the puck out as it crosses the line, and the ref's dont see. -And I was right their to witness it. The ref's blew it!

Wasn't at the game but in talking with someone who did they did mention the man in the crease (another EV perspective) but never said anything about the goalie taking one out of the net. Anyone from Rosemount or other program wit ha non-bias opinion on the crease call?

WORST OFFICIATED GAME EVER!

I agree Stev16.....The refs kept the Irish short handed the entire game, what a bunch of Homers! There was a man in the crease and Maloneys shot never crossed the line. (What game were you watching?) You lost and the odds were in your favor all afternoon. Stop crying and take it like a man.

CrossbarandIn99, what do have against Eastview's goaltending? The freshman is the second ranked goalie in the Lake conference. Eastview has the lowest goals for of all the top teams in the lake and their powerplay is probably ranked last in the Lake and they are still tied for 1st. Where is the problem?

woah zinger calm down. I do give credit to Rosemount, they did outplay EV in the first.

PBKRules,
Although I am one who will argue constantly that Lake is probably all around one of the top 3 if not the top conference, the part of your argument that lacks is that "ranked...in the Lake conference". Lake Conference is down this year. Being ranked in Lake doesn't mean much.

HShockeywatcher,

I will concur that the Lake has come up short this season against the top ranked teams in the state, however when all is said and done I believe two teams from the lake will be at the Excel Center in March.

The refs Sucked like seriosuly they were blind. There was a video, and it was reviewed it many times. To bad we couldnt have reviewed it ealier because anyone could have see that the goal was a goal!

If you have the video post a link so we all can watch it.

Are you sure you just didn't have blurry vision through the tears? :(

You lost Eastview faithful. Fair and square. Dont blame your poor performance on the ref's because i attended this game after the spanking the Irish took from EP and the Irish absolutely dominated play except for a mental breakdown which allowed the Lightning to make it a hockey game. I was on the other end when the 3rd goal was scored and my good friend who i respect greatly from Eastview was standing at an angle where he saw the puck go in for the Irish for the 3rd goal as the goalie "attempted" to reach back. Clearly you have no arguement Stev16 and you other people who claim it never went in because the ref was in position to make the call and did..

 Should have capitalized on your 8 powerplays to Rosemount's 1  kind of pathetic when you make excuses..but then the facts speak for there own!

i never once said anything about rosemount's goal. EV did get screwed, but oh well, rosemount played good-I give them credit.
If anyone was wondering,
Shots:

33 EV
24 Rosemount

You are looking at saves...
Shots were EV 35 Rosemount 27

the shots were not 33-24

The PA system at the end of the game said shots were
 Rosemount 27 Eastview 24

Maxpreps says that they were 33-24 or whatever but thats what i heard over the PA. And its not shots that will win you a game its goals
