Brainerd and Eden Prairie play 2 games this weekend in Brainerd. Should be a good test for both teams.
How do you think these games will turn out?

Could be some humble pie being served to our Warrior bantams. Won't be at the games but I hope they represent. They seem to be playing ok but if EP is clearly #1 like many say then it could be a long weekend. They also play Fergus Falls on Saturday morning which i'm told is a vital game for districts. Playing #1 with tired legs, ouch!

Who gave Brainerd a chance at winning the Moorhead tourney? If they have their game on, they could give #1 a good battle!

Well its pretty obvious that brainerd is clearly the underdogs in this one. they r gonna have to play there best game all year for 3 periods, but keep in mind the pressure is all on Ep and its brainerd home barn.

EP wont absolutely dominate....they definitely are the better team but its not gonna be a blowout each game at all. that is if Brainerd comes to play both games. if not, it could be a 5 or 6 goal game.

If Brainerd comes to play, I bet both will be a close game. I wouldn't base the turnout completely on rankings.

You're getting a shot at #1. Why wouldn't you "come to play"?

Ep will win both games i predict but it will be a tough time in the barn or Ep but I think Ep is to talented to win but, who knows if Ep doesnt come to play it will be close.
Predictions
Game one: 5-2 Ep wins Number 5 and and blake tomson I think will score both 2 goals.
Game two: 4-3 Ep wins very close game

i havent seem EP but i know that brainerd is tough competition as an underdog. i still have to give it to EP.
game 1= 4-2, EP with an empty netter
game 2= 5-1, Brainerds legs will be tired.

Focus on the FF game. That is district points that count.
D15 gives a bye to first? Good luck at regionals with the FF win?
Against EP, hey you already have them coming up NORTH to play you. I think that say's respect right there?
You won't find games (Win/Loss/Draw) like this in D15.
Do give them some Northern affection!

Heard our peewee coach earlier this year saying no automatic to regions with district title, not sure how they run playoffs.
The bantams better be ready, was told FF has tied both Moorhead and Alex and you can probably assume they'd love to add Brainerd to the list of upsets.

well if moorhead who is no good can beat brainerd two weeks ago than how can you even give them a chance with the number one team in the state.

The best we can hope for is that Brainerd competes at a respectable level, keeping the game close would be a victory for them. As a fan we've been set up before with high expectations of average teams, the let downs are getting frustrating! I hope these boys play hard and go far but to beat #1, i'm setting the line at EP to win by 3 both games.
Hopefully they're preparing for Fergus Falls, our high school team took FF lightly and they got bit by the Otters. If they can win district league play, that would be a first in a long time.
Good luck boys, i'm with Wild06 in the "rootin' for ya" department.
