Any particular reason there are no northern conferences on the list?
Lake Superior Conference: Cloquet, Duluth Marshall, Hermantown, Duluth Denfeld...
Iron Range Conference: Grand Rapids, Hibbing, Virginia, International Falls, Greenway...
Mariucci Conference: Moorhead, Roseau, Thief River Falls, Bemidji, Warroad...
These conferences are a lot deeper than a few of the choices on the list.

Either Northwest Suburban or Mariucci are the hardest in my opinion.

They're not there because they don't belong there... SEC hands down!Just look at the rankings.... this is simple what con. has more in the top 15 in the state.

So you think the Big 9, Missota, and Central Lakes belong? That is what your response implies! Your rankings argument only depends which rankings you look at and in which week! That wasn't my point, anyway.
My opinion is that the Mariucci is the toughest, followed closely by the Suburban East. The Lake Superior, Iron Range, and NW Suburban aren't far behind. The rest aren't in the running this year.

I did, they asked which conference has the most depth, and I think that would be the lake, top to bottom it is filled with solid teams, except for mabye Kennedy, this year this just isn't one or two stand out teams.

OK so what conference has more teams ranked in the top 15... that will answer the question correct? Go to Minnhock.

Because you volunteered yourself I will stick to the smaller stones. But seriously, how can you possibly say they are the best conference in the state? The only reason it appears to have good depth is because all the teams are average at best and all are competitive inside the conference. A conference that has no chance to send a team to the state tourney can not be considered the best in the state, NO WAY.

Im glad to see the Northern Conferences are not on the list! They get way too much credit!!! They may have a few good teams every year but depth drops VERY fast

Well, if you look at the AP rankings from last week, the Lake Superior Conference has the 3 teams ranked #1 or #2 in the state and another at #9. They also have the #5 ranked team in Wisconsin in the conference. There could conceivably be four state tournament births (albeit, one is in Wisconsin) from this conference.
The Mariucci has four top 20 teams as well and could produce two state tournament births.
The Iron Range Conference also has four top 20 teams and could send two teams to state.
The Suburban East also has four top 20 teams and could send two teams to state, although one of them would need to get by Hill-Murray. They are not hands down the best. The realistic difference between #9 (White Bear Lake) and say # 24 (Elk River) in the Minnhock rankings is not that great. If it were, White Bear Lake would not have 9 losses!

Northwest Suburban Conference, every year they have three power houses. (Blaine, Centennial, Elk River) and every year they get three or four other solid teams out of the conference (Anoka, Maple Grove, Champlin Park, Osseo)

puckranger...what team from Lake Sup. was ranked number one and two in the state? I don't care about WI. teams and the thread was the best conf. Not how many can go to state...that is a darn shame that four or five teams from Sec don't go to state. That is a huge section problem that needs to be fixed. The best teams in the state should not have to play each other in sections

Toss up between Suburban East and Northwest Suburban Conferences.
