Predictions on this game? Who to watch for? Im taking HIbbing in this one with a score of 4 to 2. Marchuk i would assume should start and he always seems to be a difference maker. Rough game against Benilde but should turn that around on tueday. ALso anthony decenzo has been on fire lately and look for him to keep that up. Im also expecting a big game out of Greg Sutherland. I dont really know much about Denfled so who do you think will shine for them??

This should be a fast, physical game.
I am going to take Hibbing 6-4
They need the win and the momentum for their tough Friday and Saturday games this week

As much as there is a part of me that feels like Duluth Denfeld is going to pull off the upset...I think I'm going to go with...
Hibbing - 4
Duluth Denfeld - 3
Although I would not be shocked if it ended up the other way around.

This should be a pretty darn good game.
Close game !

Davis will score 2 against his former team. Davis gets two Johnson gets one and Denfeld wins 4 to 2 with a empty net goal to seal the win . Should be a great game. Denfeld will have to play hard all 3 peridos to win. Unlike last saturday when they played bad half the game. Hibbing is too good to have two bad periods and still win.

Kolquist will need a big game in the nets against this Hibbing team in order for the Hunters to get the W. After that East game I think he will have the fire in his belly to come up with a big game. I'll take Denfeld in this one, but it could very easily go either way.
Denfeld 5
Hibbing 4

should be a good game.. hopefully hibbing can focus on getting the W and not on davis. i think marchuk will have a big game in nets for hibbing and decenzo will lead the offense like he did in the virginia game. hopefully sutherland and the d will be back to full strength.
Hibbing 6
Denfeld 3

This game can go either way. Whoever wants it more is the team thats gonna come away with it. Big game for both these teams. Hibbing has more depth than Duluth Denfeld, but that doesn't mean that it won't be a game. I'm thinking Hibbing is the stronger club, with no knocks to the Alma Mater. Then again . . who knows?

From those whom have seen BOTH teams play, I'm curious: who has the more consistent goaltender? Scoring power I'm not too concerned with right now since both teams have a profile player there. Anyone seen both these teams play?

Lots of great match-ups tonight but this one seems most interesting for the north country. I can't wait to see who wins!

Hibbing's goaltending has been more consistent. This is partly due to the fact that Denfeld has been rotating goaltenders - Kolquist is fielding about a .914 save percentage and Kent is fielding about .870 - these numbers may have changed slightly. Kent has also played about 2 more games than Kolquist. Kolquist will be going tonight since Kent got the last game, which is a good thing IMO as Kent has been shaky as of late.
