What is everyone's thoughts on the Huskies-are they a legimate contender for NCAA's?

Definitely a great candidate for the NCAA's. Nodl, Lasch, Gordon, and Goepfert can carry them that far. They do have a tough 2nd half schedule, but if they play as they're capable of, they should cruise into the tourney. Not sure if they have enough firepower to advance far, but they may be able to notch their first ever tourney win.

As Motzko gets a few more of his recruits in there, SCSU should become a yearly threat in the WCHA.

If the Huskies can get a sweep of MSU watch out they might really go on a roll!

casualfan -- pretty sure they are already on a roll. But that's just my opinion. Winning something like 12 or 13 games in a row and going unbeaten in like 15, usually means they are on a roll..

..but not a Gophers roll, I guess..

Until the third period tonight when they blow a 4-1 lead by giving up 5 unaswered. Glad I was at the SCC/Delano game instead of watching this one on the tube.

I watched and it made me sick. They got real complacent and stopped moving their feet. The frustrating part is their big shot goalie gave up some soft one's by flopping around on the ice. he did rebound though on Saturday, but I'm afraid they will live and die by him when I'm not so sure the backup is playing better positional?

I miss the good old times. When players like Jeff Finger, and Ryan Malone were on the team...Not to mention the 30-year old goalie with a wife and kid.

scsu will beat minnesota one outta two when they play again and will play each other in the wcha finals. Scsu will win the wcha becuase they have the most consistent goalie and the whole country and he probably is the best consistent goalie

If SCSU can get a split it should be a really fun series next week end with Gophers
