The 4-6 Irish are rummaging all the way up to Roseau, MN to play the 11-1 Rams. Chance for the upset?

I cannot comprehend why Rosemount would go up there for 1 game.
Bus legs gives Roseau the blowout victory

It's hard to say a 4-6 team in the lake conference isn't good.

Pad the stats boys....
Let's get a few of you on the Leader Board.

how do you pad the stats?

Padding Stats makes me think of Chisslers.
Most of the players in the MSP area are Chisslers.
"The Chissler" (Point Shilock)
These players are the most hated on the team. After a goal has been scored, The Chissler will avoid the post-goal celebration and quickly skate right to the Referee to claim he tipped the shot in. OR they beg for the "Phamtom assist." Which is the 2nd assist on a goal with only 1. In reality, he had nothing to do with the play. These are the worst kind of players, the old fashioned Point Shilocks. Unfortunately, like the Shilock, there is one on every hockey club.
It's too bad that Roseau has earned "Honest" Points yet due to these Chisslers they are kept off of the Leader Board.

Why wouldn't they try to schedule a game with Warroad or something like that tomorrow or Thursday?

good point, you would think that they would try to make it a thursday/saturday thing. Even though the lake has games on thursday/sat, they probably didnt schedule another game because the kids had to get back to school. Either way, its a long drive for one game.

Why would Rosemount do this? Its a long drive up there, but after you get embarassed it will feel twice as long coming back.
Lundy missing in action!

Lundy,
I didn't see you around the rink over the holidays or atleast I didn't see you at Hockey Central otherwise known as the Legion. Maybe too busy providing beverages for the officials out east.

Due to a few injuries. I had a schedule change. Went down to Pensacola for a few games and bumped into a former Ram who was just traded there. Had a few drinks with him and his wife. What a great time. When your on the road all the time it is nice to see a familiar face every once in a while.
I did miss the Rams... Would have been nice to see all the boys up in Roseau. Maybe skate in an alumni game. Right now it's time to gear down as playoffs are going to be here in less than 3 months. I look forward to coming back to Roseau for the Golf Tourney this summer. Who knows if Roseau can make it to State. I could possibly see you there.
I hope everyone from Roseau had a wonderful Holiday Season.

Roseau played a good first period, then disappeared for most of the 2nd.....played what I'll call "selfish" hockey and found themselves down 3-2 with 8 minutes left in the 3rd.
That 3rd goal from Rosemount finally got the Rams going and they rattled off 4 straight in a rough 3rd period. They got back to the pass, shoot / score mentality and back to their game. Game got very chippy in the last 2-3 minutes.

Hockeyfan1,
That is a very good assesment although you gave them a little more credit than I would have. I thought they only played about 9 minutes of the first period and once they got the 2-0 lead they quit skating and moving the puck. Once Rosemount went ahead they kicked it back in gear again but not a very impressive effort. None the less I guess you need to look at the good points in that it was a tight game and they responded when they needed to but that isn't always going to happen. They need to pick things up for the second half of the season.
