My predictions....

Austin over East
South over Fairmont

Blaine over AL
Novas over NFLD

Austin over South (Semi)
Novas over Blaine (Semi)

Champion: Austin
3rd: Blaine
Consolation: Albert Lea

The championship side of the brackets look a lot better than the consolation side.

You got it right except for the final - Blaine will win it.

Entirely possible, I have no idea what to expect from Blaine. I hear they have any outstanding goalie, but that's all I know.

KRACH rankings
Austin #22
Blaine #28

Blaine has a lot of speed, a good PP, and I'd say the best goalie in the state, she makes them go. They are a tad bit young, but still very good.

Austin is big and physical, but no match for Blaines speed or goalie, they should see each other in the finals.

If Austin can get by LVS, which I think you are over looking, Blaine should win about 5-0. To make a fair comparison using Krach Austin needs to play some AA teams in the Metro area. Had they defeated Mayo I might be convinced to believe otherwise.
I have not seen LVS but they also have a fine goalie and have faced much tougher competition than Austin.

I talked to my buddy in Austin. Austin beat Lakeville South 5-1. They took a 3 goal lead and never looked back.
Blaine should be a tough game for them. Of course I am looking past The novas. He said they run a shootout tonight that awards top goalie it should be interesting to see how Nixon does.

Nope, those are the results of the Shoot out. Austin beat South in their Semi Final game, but South won the overall title for ths Shoot out. South's 8th grade goalie, Chelsea Laden, almost stole the show, she did great.

Of the 35 different shooters she faced, only 3 scored.

Good first two periods. 3 of 4 first goals were PP goals. Nixon could not be cracked. Congrats Blaine.
I now will let the experts entertain me.
