Upset Special

The TRF ladies are coming off a nice 4-2 win over International Falls. They are really starting to gel as a team. Crookston has continued to play well however has struggled to put the puck in the net. Look for TRF to take this one 3-2.

I think I will go with Crookston over TRF by 4, maybe 5.

Rumor has it, the flu bug is going around. Crookston may be a little short handed in this one. Still gotta take Crookston 4-1.

It pretty much was an upset. i dont know if c-town deserved to win. 5-4 in OT. Wheelhouse final goal. Crookston will have to look for the things they need to fix, or they wont go too much further.

Talking to some parents, this was a very hard fought game. Wish I could of seen it. Sounds like TRF came to play! Heard the OT goal was contraversial......but then the ref does have the final say. Not sure what TRF is losing next year, but sounds like they may be a team to be reconned with. All good teams have an off day. Was this Crookstons off day?

The real upset special was in OT when the ref disallowed the goal and reversed his decision based on his conference with a mouse. Some TRF parents were hopping mad as well as the coach. As bad as it looked, sounds like it was the right call. Good game TRF!
