Wow...is this really even a question? Are we talking about the same Centennial team that has been getting thumped? WBL by 4

It looks like Centennial is going to be in a mini San Francisco 49ers rebuilding period...

They're a very young team, dominated by sophmores and juniors. In the opening game over half the team was seeing their first varsity action. That was the only game they got "thumped". But they're getting their feet under them.
I agree wbmd, should be a good game.

The rivalry that these two teams have formed in the last five years or so is something else that should make it a good game to see.

I agree, especially when Centennial kids keep showing up on White Bears roster!

My guesstimate is...
WBL 4
Centennial 3

AP agrees that this game is not important. Does it really matter in Section 3 whether one gets the fourth seed and the other the fifth?

These 2 teams should be 3 and 4 seeds in sec. 3.

Only because you're playing weaker teams than you were before.

WBL is playing better and will continue to get better as there young players learn how to be varsity players and not bantams. It has nothing to do with the competition as somebody on here wants to suggest. Those young players will have learned quite a bit by playing the schedule they did early on and taking that knowledge and transforming it to their game. That being said I think woodbury will give them all they want this week and roseville has to much skill for the bears to compete with.

Putney, Villnueve, and Swanson are all contributing nicely as sophomores. The Bears can play with anybody in the state if they stay out of the box. I didn't see the Moorhead or Fargo south games, but other than that 5 on 5 they can hang with anyone. This is a good team and if they played a cupcake early schedule like some of the privates do they would be in the top 10.

My, my Scotty, what a nasty shot at the privates.

Moorhead, Duluth East, Cloquet, White Bear and many other public schools play the toughest non-conference and early schedules in the state. Not a shot, just the facts.

Cent. also looked very good last night. I think both these teams may suprise some people at the Schwann's Cup.
