This is defenitely the toughest section in state, just ask the people who made the Schwann Cup Gold Division. What number is it?

I agree. If Mounds View is on there, Stillwater certainly should be.
ae_42, you might want to edit the poll and add the Ponies.

Ok first of all Hill doesnt look that good.. i know they are winning but they didnt play good against wbl from what i saw... and were is the love for wbl.. i know there record doesnt show anything but from what i saw they have the talent but need to learn to work together... if they do that they will be fine and i think go to state... you can never count them out.. sections are a different story for these teams...and i think roseville is better then Hill but we will see... but i dont think Phillipi and Larson can bring them to state..

Hill may not look that great right now, but they will get better, and might just be unstoppable by the end of the season, especially since their Wisconsin transfers become eligible after the halfway point. Singerhouse is for real and the kid from Somerset is pretty good too!

I think Roseville wins it all.

Toughest section in the State? Better take a good look at Section 7 before you come to this conclusion.
Cloquet
Duluth East
Grand Rapids
Elk River
Brainerd
Roseville appears very impressive early otherwise no one else is standing out in my mind. Cloquet, and East look very good, Grand Rapids needs to get White back to be in the upper class, Elk River at the end of the year will be very strong and Brainerd is the darling sleeper.

Let's not yet rule out Forest Lake.

I find the section 7 debate laughable.... sure they have two top teams, one cannot dispute that. But lets compare top to bottom 7AA vs 3AA.... It seems to me 3AA has this one hands down.
And Forest Lake... are you serious?????????????

Forest Lake lost 2-1 in OT to Stillwater...who beat CDH. And 7AA is far deeper than any section in the state. You just don't have the priviledge to see any of those teams play consistently.

The section is a bit interesting this year. As we can see so far, White Bear Lake (1-5) and Centennial (1-2) are a bit down compared to how they usually are. Roseville will have the firepower but their defense and goaltending isn't nearly as strong. Finally, H-M has a different look, but returns Joe Phillippi in nets and forward Nick Larson. The first two lines have done very well so far, and look as though they'll provide plenty of offense.
Predictions for top 5 on seedings:
1. Hill-Murray
2. Roseville
3. Centennial
4. White Bear Lake
5. Stillwater
