Wow, was that against the same Kennedy goalie that had 66 saves in a shutout last week? Or does Kennedy have another goalie that they started against Simley?

In my humble opinion we faced a very solid goalie on one of her off days - and she only played the first two periods but she faced quite a few quality shots. The three goals in the first period were PP, the first two of the 2nd were SH. I watched her play against Shakopee last week when she put up the 66 of 66 SO performance. She was simply amazing - and has been so consistently even before coming to Kennedy (from Prior Lake). I also think that at times that the media coverage can be a distraction but is MUCH deserved in this situation. Also - some of the top kids for Kennedy were also facing their former coaches and we didn't leave on the best of terms either obvioulsy. Even for me as a coach this was not an easy situation coming back to Bloomington for a game. If you played this game again with two teams of the same ability that didn't have any of these distractions, it may be a different outcome.

I have to say that the 66 SV SO performace was the best I've ever seen.
