Just a quick note for those of you who care.
My daughter, Katie Horner, will be continuing her education and her hockey career at Dartmouth.
Go Big Green!

A hearty congratulations to your daughter. Although I'm not a fan of The Big Green, there can be no doubt Dartmouth is one of the premier women's hockey programs in the country...always a very strong roster. Should make it fun for your daughter. She'll definitely be part of a winning tradition. Best of luck to her in the future.

I will likely be a Dartmouth fan anytime they play UNH however.

Congratulations to all the players recruited by D1 schools. There seems to be a lot of defenseman recruited for next year, but not much mention of forwards. Is this normal or is the word just not out yet!

This is a class very stong at D but not as strong at F (but still some very strong F's of course...). It's all relative to prior classes, and many won't argue with the idea that the 2006 class mainly of 1988 birthyear was a prety amazing group in general. I think we'll be comparing classes of players to 2006 for many years to come...

Myself, I'm going with the word of her father on this one. S'pose we can keep tabs on the BSU / DC websites for the definitive answer.

:D Let's remember that the Red Star posted a picture of Chelsey Jones were Allie Thunstrom was supposed to be last Spring when reporting the Ms. Hockey winner.
She's going to Dartmouth.

Big game in the east today between the #'s 3 and 6 ranked teams nationally. A HUGE goal to tie the game for Dartmouth with just 19 seconds to go. Recognize the happy player who got the big goal? Number 5 and former Bear...

Well, her and Joe Stejskal should meet.

I am aware of Joe and so is Katie. She will surely need home town connections being that far away from home. Someone who knows the meaning of "Yah, fur sure, you betchya!) She can make friends in a phone booth while taking a nap so I'm sure it's just a matter of time before they cross paths. If you know him well and he wishes to be introduced prior to college, he can contact me though is forum.

I know Joe quite well and I am sure he would love that. Does she ever play a game anywhere up north?

No, I'm sorry she doesn't.
