C. Lakeville team (either North or South)
D. 94 Fire Hockey (not in LPH MN rankings)
E. Wayzata
F. Chaska
G. Edina

Edina has a good crop of first-years coming from an exceptional squirt team last year.

One team to watch is Apple Valley. Several first-years are back, and there are two strong Squirt A's likely to move up: Fasching and Lang.

Mpls Park Peewee A should have a solid team this season as well.
9 players from last season's PWA team return to try-out for this years team.
(2 first year returning players have moved) There is also good group from last season's PWB and SQA teams.
This should be a very intersting year for this group of players. There is quite a bit of talent as well as some valuable experience gained.

Edina's first-year PeeWees (7 from last year's 29-1 Squirt A team) looked strong against squads from Tonka, Fargo and Wayzata, winning three games in an informal tournament this past weekend in St. Cloud. 16 goals for, 2 against.

Hey what's new? Well we are just starting warm-ups and we are returning 7 players from last year, But they are not as good as the ones you have coming back from our all star game. Who moved!

Como is going to be pretty strong, but I'm sure Highland and SWSLP will be at the top for the voting.
How are teams coming along out there????

Sorry to be blunt, but are we predicting top-level play by teams from Minneapolis and St. Paul? Hasn't the trend been just the opposite for many years now? If the trend is reversing, what's causing it?

2.Southwest-St.Louis Park
3.Como

I like the reference to Highland-Cretin
The last district one board meeting notes showed something interesting. Minnehaha is might have a Bantam B team this year. Whats next, we have Cretin take over the Highland program? They already act like they own the Chiefs.

I'll wait to see how some of the teams start out before picking a rank.
If Johnson is at the bottom like you say, they really must have fallen off after making to the Regional Tournament last year. What happened???

I like the idea of ranking teams from the different districts.
I have a few rankings
D1 peewee A
Highland and SW-SLP
D1 peewee B
Como and Highland
D1 Bantam A
Irondale and SW
D1 Bantam B
Como and Highland
Not likely

Its nice to see people picking the good teams from Dist one, but when is the last time we've seen any of them do well at the regional or state level????

I hope you are talking about Como at the "B" levels because Como only fields one "A" team and that is the Bantams. Last year Como had a pee wee team that played in "B" divison and should have been an "A" team and still could not make it to the state tournament. I think they ended up being ranked like 8 th in the state in LPH, I hope they think they really proud of playing down a level.

Hey Duffus,
Lets not start bashing teams. Here in White Bear we have 130 some at the pee wee level this year. How can anyone think that a team like Como which only has about 35 to 40 players to compete at the "A" level.
Teams say from the city district think they could possibly have a team that could play with say Edina, Eden Prairie or Lakeville at the "A" level. Just is not going to happen.

Edina has 138 skaters and another 12-15 goalies for peewees, so larger associations are far more likely to field stronger teams.
