Have they decided who's going to the Minnkota Cup in JGA? Is it in SD again? <p></p><i></i>

Brookings has won the SD regular season title. Pierre was 2nd. Some other than Pierre or Brookings would have to win State Tourney for Pierre not to go. <p></p><i></i>

Wayzata and Eagan were invited to the Minnkota Cup, however, Eagan has recently backed out. White Bear Lake will go instead. <p></p><i></i>

Im not sure why EP isnt going...They won the Metro and got second in state and were 4-0 against the MN teams in it and beat WBL 6-2 both times we played them...but o well good luck to the teams going Im predicting Wayzata vs. Brookings in the championship <p></p><i></i>

Because the people who pick the teams to go their dont really pick the best they pick who they think they can beat but have it be close...EP went and won 2 of the 3 years...if it was really the BEST teams of the season it shouldve been EP cuz they won the regular season title and got 2nd in state and Hastings cuz they won it <p></p><i></i>

Teams are picked well before the state tournament. Many teams are asked if they're interested but with spring breaks many will decide they cant get enough kids to go. Also, they look at who will represent the league best, so if a team has had problems on the ice they likely wont get asked. Not sure if we had any of that this year but if they wait until after state its too late to decide. <p></p><i></i>
