Am I the only one who is a little suspicious of the high KRACH ranking of AHA? I'm looking at their schedule and I don't see how their SOS is so high. They're 5-2 against quality Class AA teams and 3 of those wins were from the first week of the season. So basically, since Thanksgiving they are 2-2 against top 20 Class AA teams. They've lost to a Class A team, and the bulk of their schedule is against Class A teams. How is it they get this astronomically high SOS? I must be missing something. I realize it's not their fault they're in a conference with all these Class A teams, but how do they get rewarded for it in the rankings. Burnsville has played only 3 games against Class A teams, Eagan 2 and CDH 2 (and one of those was Blake, which doesn't count). All of this makes me doubt that AHA is getting out of this section alive.

I like Eagan out of this section. Solid team with excellent goaltending.

I agree keepitreal, I think Eagan might come out with this one. They have a pretty solid team with some good goaltending, and it should make for some nice playoffs games coming up.

Both of you ought to think twice. Just my opinion, but there is no way Eagan will win 5AA. First they have to get by Burnsville(which they beat twice), and then AHA. AHA is to far strong of a team for them. The biggest difference being AHA plays as a team from start to finish. Eagan does not have the team effort, only strong goaltending, probably the best in the state for a combo. They will need a lot more than a strong performance from their top D (Berreman) to win this game. There is still a lot of good games coming up.

AHA 6
CDH 2
Burnsville 4
Eagan 3
Eagan came back from 3-1 to tie in the third but BV put it away with about 3 minutes to go.

Altman, she did a great job of keeping Eagan in the game.

Burnsville upsets Eagan and AHA to win the section.
