Couple of questions:
Crookston has the most votes, does losing there goalie Osborn drop them from being the favorite?
East Grand Forks in Second with votes, what do they have coming up that makes them a contender?
Roseau to me should be considered as favorites, they lose nobody and have some good young players yet no votes?

Warroad lost one of the best forwards in the state to graduation, but their U14 team won the state tournament 2 years ago.

Why did you not vote for Roseau?

Conflict of Interest. I don't want to upset my girls by voting for someone else.

Understandable, and the kids do read this stuff. I had a 7th grader in my youth program ask me about something I said on here the other day...

First off just cause crookston lost osborn that doesn't mean anything. They are still a good team with or without her. Brigetta is a soild goalie. She has only been in the net for 2 years. How many goalies are this good the second year they are playing the position?

Crookston has proven that they can play with the best and the goaltending has been very good at times, most recently against Moorhead. The problem has been consistency in the nets. Martin has been in goal 12 times this year with a .841 save % & 2.17 GAA. For C-town to win down the stretch she will need to bring her "A" game every day & get her save % up to 90% for all remaining games. The team will need to continue to work hard at both ends, (this means everyone including the goal scorers) block shots, keep the shooters to the outside, & stay out of the penalty box. At times Martin has proved that she can get the job done and needs to ride this with confidence to lead the team to the big show.
