Not bad just came out a little slow, plus the goal that went in for MV was stoped then trickled its way into the net VERY slowly. When i left it was 4-2 Roseville, im sure they will win.

roseville did win....5-2. for anyone wondering why it has been professed for weeks now about secton 3AA and that it is a state tournament by itself need go no further than this afternoons games. the pony/cougar game was a great game and stillwater being the 7 seed played like they were the 1st seed. no wonder they beat wbl. housley(sp) brings the best out of those kids. i tip my hat to their club. their goalie didn't hurt them either.

It is important acknowledge the great job Phil Housley has done in his first year at Stillwater. No one wanted to play these guys at the end of the year. Everybpdy was saying Cenntennial has a bye to the section championship, that was anything but a bye today for them.

I have to agree with the above statements about the Centennial/Stillwater game. It was a hard fought victory for the Cougars but Stillwater almost pulled off the upset. Stillwater is a gritty team with some skilled players in key positions. The goalie for Stillwater played extremely well and kept the Ponies in the game to the end. Stillwater is by far the best 7th seed team in the state if seedings really mean anything.

Centennial did outshoot stillwater 57-16 so if it wasnt for their goalie it would have been a differnt story
