i agree...no one cares about backups....it is one thing to talk about a team with two good goalies who both play and are battling, but who cares about someone who doesn't play? they don't impact the team or anything else so why comment on it? maybe some of them will play next year, but as for this year not too many people care. <p></p><i></i>

I've watched Mattison play many times this year. In the two meltdowns at Century he proved he can hold his own in the big 9. <br><br>My brother plays jv at blake so I watched Mattison play there too. His team sucks. They got out shot 39-10 and lost 2-0 but he played well. He seemed frustrated at the lack of quality defensmen so he yells alot, but none the less he is a Good solid goaltender and will be huge next year for Owatonna. <p></p><i></i>

I know mattison and he is a good goaltender, he is huge and thats just a big physical presents for him. you got nothing to shoot at when you are going against him. He should be big for owatonna next year. He had a huge game against ROchester Lourdes in a 3-0 shutout victory. I htink that he should have played a lot more when Nguyen was struggling in nets in the middle of the season. Martinson will do good for Roseau, i have faith. <p></p><i></i>
