I would think the Blades are the team to beat but I want to see the Federals win it. They have never beaten the Blades but I think they are about to.....we'll see. <p></p><i></i>

the icemen have no chance it is pretty much between the feds and the blades. Actually the Icemen do have a chance. Boy do you sure like talking up your Fed's team. Just look at your old postings. Well in the meltdown the Fed's beat the icemen 3-0 and basically beat em' up and down the ice...we'll see what the predator's cup brings... <p></p><i></i>

I agree with the above post. Until you beat the Blades, you are still just pretenders. Can they be beat? I think so. However, the smart thing to do would be to shut-up and show them on the rink.<br><br>Have you ever heard of bulletin board material? <p></p><i></i>

The federals did not out play the Blades in the Meltdown<br>They got a lucky tip in goal on a 2 on 1. If you want to start talking a bout a cocky team, talk about the Federals. <p></p><i></i>

I agree the federals win a couple games, and they are all over the place on this board talking their team up. I would agree that some Federal players have been talking a little too much and taking it a little far. Being a Federal myself, I know several of these guys, and most of them are just foolin' around. I realize that we have not yet proven ourselves, but we will come to play this week. I'm not saying we're as good as they say we are, and I'm not saying we aren't, either. All I'm saying is that these guys are just a bunch of kids having a little fun on the computer. If you are annoyed by it, so be it. But I would just ignore it. Take the talk to the ice, no matter who you are. So guys(fellow feds) if u see this, let your play on the ice do the talking, not your keyboard. It was fun for a little bit, but now it's time to back it up. <p></p><i></i>

as for the blades being the favorite, they chocked against the Cheifs
The icemen would have played a close game with the Appelton Ice if not for the ref over reacting and forfieting our team.
Now that the feds did not repeat their last tourny proformance, maybe they wont be so cocky and realize that their not established until they win a major tourny.

I would hardly say the Feds disappointed. They went undefeated in their pool and lost 4-3 to Appleton (who won it all) after they were up most of the game. Then they lost to you guys in a shoot-out. (which is a crappy way to end a championship pool game)

I do feel that the Icemen were the best team in the tournament after playing all the big names accept the Blades. That being said, lets revise our ratings from the pre-Predator's cup.

1. Icemen*
2. Federals*
3. Chiefs
4. Blades
5. Predators

*very equal teams by my opinion.

1)Blades (if goaltendings on)
2)Icemen
3)Feds
4)Chiefs

In the tourney the Blades goalies/goalie was gone so they brought a kid in. I'm guessing this is why the goaltending was so shaky.

The Blades goalie that filled in for Carruth was Eric Thayer... He played for the 92 Fire last winter and the 92 Icemen last summer...
