Do or Die for each team. This is a huge game, both seem to be in a bit of a slump right now. Who is going to come on top? Predictions?

If Hopkins plays anything like they did vs. Brooklyn Park. It's the end of the road for them.

I think Hopkins has a few players coming back from injuries so that could be trouble for MG with Fink back at forward and wanting to move on.

Both teams can have alot of offensive firepower when on, and id say its just a matter of who wants it more.

8:00 PM 2/21 Osseo East. Let's see if Hopkins is healthier. It'll be another Fink/Malone match-up. Can't wait.

Edited by: <A HREF=

Hockey Nut - did the Maple Grove PeeWee A lose in their first round game to Orono? I know that Hopkins PWA lost in their first game to Armstrong.

Yes they did, 5-2. That's what I mean in my earlier post, about the same teams playing at both levels. MG plays Hopkins in a Do-or-Die game at both the Peewee and Bantam levels. MG was up 2-0 after the first against Orono, then they came out and laid an egg. I beleive Orono had 4 Power Play goals in the game.

Both games are a #2 seed playing a #3 seed in an elimanation game. Guess that just proves that anything can happend in the play-offs.

MG Bantam A's season is over. Hopkins 5 - MG 2. It was the Fink show. WOW. MG's second line was the only one to score. I believe the #1 line for MG was at least a minus 3 or 4.

I believe he had 4 points. You should have seen his victory lap taking time off the clock at the end. He took the puck out of MG's zone, casually carried it back deep into Hopkin's, daring anyone to take the puck away. He also had one powerplay goal where the MG players around the net were so fascinated watching him that they just let him walk in and totally snipe one top left corner. He is the real deal.

What's the word on him, Benilde?

His brother goes to BSM, but I heard he wants to stick around with his friends at hopkins.

Keep in mind, this same team lost to Brooklyn Park just 4 short days ago.
