MNLIGHT39. Do you know if Brandon Frakes is going back to Maple Gove after playing for Team Midwest last year. He is pretty good. I have seen him play for the Blades.

What's your opinion of Webb from the Blades who is now at Shattuck

Frakes

Personally,I dont think Frakes is any good. Very small, bad form, decent glove but isnt anything special in my mind. Webb would be much better off at Edina. He would probably be the go to guy on Edina's Bantam A team but instead he went to Shattuck and isnt even the top goalie in his age group. Dont get me wrong Shattuck is a oportunity of a lifetime and I dont blame him one bit for doing what he did.

I think your right about Webb. I think he would be better off at Edina. Who knows though if he won't be the guy this year at Shattuck. I have only seen him play a couple of times and I wonder if you really improve at Shattuck with all that talent in front of you, but the coaching probably is top notch. It will be interesting to see how your list shakes out at the end of the year as far as Select 15's go

Taffe....lets get real. He is playing for Provindence Academy by the way and he really isnt that good. Hemingway is pretty decent

Taffe is horrible...you score one on him you score 5. And yes hes playing on providence's varsity or jv team instead of bantams

That's the interesting thing about goaltending -- everyone has a different opinion.

Hemingway, Taffe and Howe (Wayzata - but moving to HS, I think) were the best goalies we faced last year.

No. Howe was a second year bantam last year. This year he will be playing high school. He was on on Wayzata B1 as a first year. And yes he was probably the best bantam goalie last year but he is not eligable for bantams again

He's a freshman at Wayzeta High School...he has eligibilty left I believe its one of those wierd birthdays. And yes I believe to he is definately the top golie in the state.

Howe

You are right, Howe is a freshman this year. But 99.9% sure that he can not play bantams again this year. And i am positve that he has played two years of bantams already.

I think Kevin McMahon is the best bantam goalie this year. Two years ago we out shot Orono about 45 to 20 and we lost. He kept them in the game. What are your thoughts on MNLIGHT39. You seem to know alot about goalies.<img src=

Carruth plays for the '92 Blades. There are AAA coaches that consider him to be one of the very top 92's in North America.

PAMESH, that same golie you were talking about made Orono beat us 1-0 when we outshot them 44-5

Kevin McMahon

Yah, i think he will be defenitally top 3 goalies this year . Im pretty sure he hasent decided on where he is playing yet, he does go to Benilde. If he ends up playing bantams at Orono it is a huge plus for that team. Hockeydude18,was that the same kid you are talking about as Pamesh...?

McMahon played with the 90 lightning. Caruth has yet to proof himself at the Bantam Level.
