intresting puckdaddy,

i think one or two could go either way with Bemidji and elk river.
3-5 could go any way with sartell beating tech and tech beating moorhead.
6-10 is a huge jumble and really could go anyway

That what i've said in the past its hard to place a team just on SOS. I think this is pretty close to the final seedings if people are honest in the way the teams have played.

Any given team on any give day and the desire to do their best will make the difference. Its crunch time.

Bemidji will be tough to beat and they will give EP more than they want.

IMHO

Tech should definitley be #3 they beat Moorhead. And for sartell/SR game #1 Tech won 7-2 and game #2 Tech lost 2-5 but one was a empty netter, and Tech out shout them. Also Tech got screwed over by the refs in that game #2.
The way I think it should be is
#1 Bemidji
#2 ER
#3 TECH
#4 Moorhead
#5 Sartell/SR
#6 River Lakes (they beat Alex)
#7 Brainerd
#8 Icebreakers
#9 Buffalo
#10 North Wright County

Did you see the same game??? Give them their due, they beat Tech by having a great defensive game starting at the net and working out. And a strong offense. In game one with Tech, S/SR did not play four senior girls in the first period including two of the top D.

Also the penalties favored Tech 4 to 6. The goals scored where not cheap goals and Tech had a six on five for the last two minutes and six on four in the last minute. Also they had more points for the season. 34. Therefore they should be rated in the top four. They also have a better goals for and goals against average than Tech.

Ok, first off, everyone knows I'm biased toward Tech, but here's my opinion. I also believe that Tech should have been seeded three, but because not a lot of teams in their confrence like them, they wound up 4th. They beat Moorhead, and yes, they split the series with SSR, but does their one win not count for anything? Last time I checked, Tech had a better record than Moorhead, but that could have changed. The second game with SSR was one of the worst I have ever seen Tech play, nothing was clicking that night (I'm not saying that is an excuse. SSR played well. I'm just stating what is my opinion). They played that game at the end of their mid season slump and they pulled out of it the game after that. If you would have watched them a week later, anyone would have agreed they deserved the number 3 seed.

puckdaddy22-um yeah I was at the game. Yeah Sartell/SR had a good game and Tech was not having the greatest night. But in the long run Tech is definitly the better team. And by a strong defence you must just be talking about Maddie Haraldson, cause other than her they don't have any skill.

Edited by: <A HREF=

I'd like to add one more comment and I will be done. How is it, when Tech got the huge win over Moorhead that it makes no difference and yet Moorhead still ends up ahead of them? And then when Tech beat SSR, then lost (still beating them once) it causes Tech to slip down a spot? Apperantly, their win over Moorhead never really mattered.<img src=
http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/mad.gif ALT=">:"> Would have liked to see Sartell match up against Moorhead.

Again, I'm biased toward Tech and this is just one persons opinion.

You mentioned record considerations - meaning one had a better overall record, etc.? What about Strength-of-schedule? And have we examined all the head-to-head & common opponents? Just throwing this stuff out there as it is all part of the consideration...

Having just reviewed the records of both teams I see that SSR lost only 3 regular season games and Tech's loses are to regular season opponents.

I also see that Tech lost to Alex as did SSR and then tied Alex as did SSR. I noted early this year that the CLC was not going to be controlled by just one team which is the way it turned out. Alex will lose 12 seniors which will take a very large effort to repeat as the leader next year. It may happen. Just talk to BigRed. With that being said SSR is alot better this year in all aspects of the game. More depth on defence. A better offense. Just a better team.

I think I remember that Puck35 noted that Tech hadn't lost much from last year. I think the seniors from last year might have something to say about that.

I know that Bemidji will be waiting and ER and Moorhead and all the other teams....to prove who will be moving on.
