Big game this weekend, i look for the dogs to play well this weekend especially after a great performance last week against the gophs. However i think they might split. I think the dogs have great forwards, but are weak defensively. Any comments?

Quote:
-minnhock muckraker-

Dogs have not shown a weakness in goal this year....so defense in its entirety isn't a problem yet. They face Parise who came into the season as one of the top rated (if not the top) goalie in Division 1 this year. Let's see how the Dogs offense does against UND this weekend if he is in net.

Elliot....was Parise rated #1 in WCHA? I don't recall what I read that named him as the #1 incoming goaltender....must be WCHA. These were rankings on goalies that I read BEFORE any games had been played however, also.
